The staff and host were friendly and helpful! The location was excellent. The birds and animals were exotic and so interesting. The gardens were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!
It is an older place - from 1750 or so! So some wear and tear - but we found it charming.

Cute, charming house with convenient location. Free parking on the yard, easy access. Really nice breakfast room with your signature table. Family owned hotel with only few rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.. Room was peaceful and had a nice tub. Really big bed.
Bath tub foam would have been a nice bonus. During the night we heard continuos machine noice (like laundry machine) that lasted until over midnight. Also nextdoor dogs barked a bit in the evening. Good that we had earplugs. Otherwise really peaceful and quiet. Quite cold tiled floors, so bring your slippers or socks.

The location is very good. The historic part of Guimares is a short walk away and there are a few cafes and restaurants nearby. There is a shopping centre across the road a short distance away.
The breakfast was good and there is a pond with ducks and a swan together with a couple of peacocks if one wishes to relax in the garden.
We had the smaller of the rooms and it was very spacious.

Was a great location with excellent parking
Constant barking of dogs on the property, even during the night. Lack of attention to detail. Kettle/coffee facility in room would be appreciated instead of having to go to the kitchen. The bathroom badly needs upgrading. Shower over bath was dangerous as no anti slip mat. Lack of breakfast items an issue, only 1 black tea bag. Cereal jar on table almost empty.
With a bit more care and attention could be so much better
