Monte Pacis Hotel In Pažaislis

Fantastic opportunity to stay in this unique property. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Free parking near the door. The rooms were better than the photos, very large and quite opulent with little touches like free chocolates - although small windows (as it was and is a monastery). Beautiful setting. We ate in the restaurant which was stunning food but did take a very long time to arrive. Breakfast was great although way too much food for me and my teenagers - my husband went for all 3 courses!

We had a wonderful stay at Monte Pacis. The Standard Room was cozy, comfortable and perfect for a short visit. For a longer stay, I would definitely choose one of the suites for more space, but if you are looking to enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful surroundings of the Monastery, the Standard Room is definitely enough for one night. What we loved most was how everything flowed together into one peaceful experience. Even breakfast felt like it was designed to be a long, relaxing morning rather than something to rush through. The beautiful setting, quiet atmosphere, delicious breakfast and warm hospitality all complemented each other perfectly. Attending Sunday Mass was also a wonderful addition and made the experience feel even more special. Monte Pacis is truly a unique place to stay in Kaunas, where you can slow down, enjoy your surroundings and simply be present.

Authentic, special environment of both the room itself and the monastery building complex, where the hospitality complex is located. Very beautiful surroundings, the opportunity to walk along the shores of Kaunas Lagoon, as well as for a longer hike to further surroundings. We also booked a guided tour of the Pažaislis monastery complex - it greatly enriched our stay. Excellent staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant, and breakfast (a la carte menu) in the restaurant was wonderful, it is not for nothing that the restaurant has been included in the Michelin list for several years in a row.

There was no possibility to make coffee or tea in the room (there was no kettle). Shower and toilet with washbasin in separate rooms/places - not very convenient to use. Bed on the mezzanine, so some rooms have low ceilings/under the stairs and my son hit his head.

the room was very nice, spacious, clean, just there was no bath , but for a 1 night stay, I didn't mind , there was a concert that evening, which was really nice

The food, I had a hamburger in the evening and I have had food poisoning afterwards. I have been sick for 2 weeks, vomiting, fever, headache! Unacceptable as they advertise their restaurant being in the Michelin Guide ...
