Beautiful view of the bridge and across river and great proximity to downtown area./river access.
Close to the action means it was noisy with the funicular and train across the bridge and motor bikes late evening along the road out the front. Also people outside the door drinking and yelling with the bar nearby. Slept with ear plugs and music.

Location. Immediately adjacent to the funicular is very good in this two-level city.
Very small - smaller than many hotel rooms.

The view and the location was perfect! The stairs to the unit was not that great for older people to carry your baggage and climb every day, The host and everything else was really great and we will stay there again.
The stairs to the apartment was not so great, but part of Portugal.
