Nong Kiau Riverside

We had a whole cabin, with plenty of space, overlooking the river, and an outside deck with comfortable chairs for relaxing. A good location just over the bridge from the centre. Breakfast was excellent, withplenty of variety and eggs cooked freshly to order.

Tours and transport were offered, but we felt overpriced. A long walk from the entrance if you were in one of the further cabins.

The hotel is a rather small place in a quiet neighborhood street in walking distance to the old town. The rooms are spacious and clean with all amenities needed. Very friendly and helpful personell! The tasty breakfast was individually and freshly made. When we wanted Tolstoy for another day, they were very flexible. Thus, we saw different room categories that were both of very good quality. We enjoyed our stay very much an can recommend it.

Facilities in some rooms were old and run down. Others were large with more modern additions. Our bathroom tap popped off the minute we switched it on and with no curtain water sprayed everywhere. My parents room had a lovely modern bathroom with a shower curtain, new tiles and taps etc. The room was also larger.
