Nice quiet place. You can book extra breakfast that was very nice. Room was a good size, nice comfy bed.

The rooms were awesome.
Water & Hygiene: Serving drinking water in washed, reused plastic bottles is unhygienic and unacceptable.
Safety Hazard: The shelf near the fridge displaying awards is dangerously low—two of my colleagues hit their heads on it and bled. Please remove it.
Overpriced Breakfast: We were charged ₹4,500 for a promised "7-course breakfast" without being shown a menu. Serving waffles, cheese toast, a tiny cup of curd, and a pinch of cornflakes , fruit bowl, poori n potato’s gravy is completely overpriced and disappointing for local guests.
Poor Housekeeping: On the second day, despite keeping the room keys with them, the staff did not clean the rooms or wash the oily plates left from before.

We had the best time at Reds Residency! Melissa was so kind and helpful but what stood out most was her homemade five-course breakfast with fresh fruit, local food, yoghurt and much more. The homestay is located close to fort Kochi so everything we wanted to visit was in walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and clean and had A/C. She also arranged a local martial arts performance for us to watch, which was a great experience too! I can recommend this homestay to anybody visiting Kochi 😊
