Great hostess and location, but the apartment was not as expected.

Although I had messaged several weeks prior to arrival asking about boat tours and walking tours, I did not get a response from the hostess until a couple of days prior to our arrival. She was very helpful once we were within a couple of days of arrival, and provided us with excellent information regarding parking and had someone come and meet us as we were on our way to the meeting spot. He gave us pointers for getting around, things to do, and helped carry the the bag up the stairs for our older adult. The keys were easy to find and keep track of with a lockbox on the apartment front door, and the location is very convenient. We were close to the water for a quick walk to catch our boat tour and to get anywhere else we needed to go.

Anyone considering this apartment should make sure they are looking at the pictures for this particular apartment. There are several different apartments in the same listing, each with their own set of pictures that you have to scroll to on the top and click on once the listing is opened. The picture on the home page for this listing is definitely not this apartment. There is no view and no nice large window letting in streams of morning light. To offer this as an apartment that comfortably sleeps 5 adults is stretching it. There is no living space other than a small kitchen table that seats four and the bedrooms are so tiny that there is barely room for the bed with little room for even a backpack or moving around. With one of the bedrooms having two twin beds and the other a bunk bed (double on bottom and single on top) this would be more appropriate for a family of 2 adults and 3 young children. We had a mother and grown son, a couple, and a single adult, so this was a rather cramped and uncomfortable arrangement. As previous reviews have noted there is very little kitchenware. There is a coffee maker with tea and coffee provided, but there were only 3 cups. The apartment itself was clean; however, the building and hallways are filthy and the smell of smoke in them is overwhelming and carries into the apartment. Although the apartment may be non-smoking, the building is decidedly NOT. It is also very loud at night with the club crowds walking under the windows and the couple downstairs arguing on and off all night.

The location was very central and easy to walk to everything in Old Town. Kristina was awesome. I left a credit card there and she sent it to my next location.

There is a bar called Charlie’s Backpack that is almost never closed. If you sleep in the front room be prepared for noise late in the night. I couldn’t hear it from the back room with my white noise. We decided if you can’t beat them, join them, and we went to Charlie’s Backpack the following night and had fun. It was a younger crowd, however!

Wonderful location

Location center within the Diocletian Palace wall. Near to all sights. . Aesthetically the apartment looks very welcoming. Beautiful design with full kitchen facilities. The owner Kristina is very obliging. Coming out in the rain to greet us and bring us in

We loved the location of this property. It was in the perfect spot and easy to find. The cleanliness and comfort of the beds was a great part aswell.

The location was perfect, you cannot be more in the city centre than this place, everything was just a minute away.

The truth is that the apartment looked different on pictures, and there was not enough kitchen supplies for 7 people.

the room was very fresh and clean. the access to old town is a short walk. quiet location

First, there are many photos on the booking page of different apartments and we could not know which of them is going to be assigned to you, since he cannot identify it a priori. the address of the page does not match with the current address of its owner all very confusing. Location at the old centre of Split with a group of 9 friends. Accommodation is okay. Staff very friendly; our Aircondlting broke during the stay and was fixed within a few hours.

Location was exceptional. Accommodation was spacious and clean with every facility you’d require for a great stay. The hosts were so nice and helpful with more than just the accommodation. Great value for money- can’t recommend highly enough!

Lovely stay in Split

The room was recently renovated so everything was new & clean. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and room came with a fridge which was ideal. Arrived early before check in and were able to leave our bags at the local meeting point whilst we went for lunch.

Not the fault of the property but Booking.com advertises this property at a particular location, it turns out they have lots of apartments all over the city and the address is for their main office. So we weren’t where we thought we would be in terms of location. Images are of all the different options they have so don’t assume you will be getting the ones with the purple curtains! The meeting point is right by the fish market (for anyone who couldn’t figure it out on maps like me!)

The warmest of welcome in Split in a superbly clean, spacious apartment, ideally located.

Superb location in the heart of the old town. All the sightseeing, restaurants and cafés on your doorstep, with essential shops nearby. The apartment was impeccably clean, very spacious and very comfortable for our two families of four adults and four children in all. We had everything we needed for our two nights stay. Communication was excellent throughout with our host who couldn't have been more kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nothing! The apartment matched the description and met our expectations. It was good value for money for such a large space in such a good location. The kitchen was small but equipped with all the essentials. The two bathrooms were spacious and very well appointed.
