Super nice resort and lots to discover on property
Very difficult to leave with taxi and shuttle is quite expensive

Perfect location to visit Hell Fire Pass and breakfast was an excellent selection. Not many "western items", but I don't like those anyway.
The restaurant is in the jungle and has a lovely feeling about it.
The rooms were large and spotlessly clean.
Dinner was ok, however one table was freaking out about the bugs flying around and didn't seem too happy.
If you don't have a car you will be stuck there, but with a car there are lots of restaurants within 20 minutes of the accommodation.
The room we had, had a shared balcony and we needed to walk past people sitting on the balcony. In the end none of us had privacy so we both kept curtains closed.

The resort has this peaceful jungle/garden vibe and is perfect for relaxing. Although the resort is quite remote, there are activities such as a museum, zipline and elephant sanctuary you can do. If you do not have a car, I would not recommend staying here too long (except if you want to just relax).
Staff is really friendly, rooms are clean and nice and the pools are amazing.
The restaurant is good and reasonably priced.
Breakfast is amazing.
The only way to get there is by a quite expensive taxi.

We booked a villa with the outside hot tub with natural mineral water, the villa was good and the hot tub was good.
The staff are very good and respectful.
we were advised that at 1600hrs and 0700hrs a man will come and refill/change the water in the tub. we had to ask for that to happen on the first afternoon, we called reception at approx 1730 hrs . on day 2 by mid afternoon our room had not been serviced, we had to ask for that as well, they did respond quickly.
The Weary Dunlop memorial and display is well presented but is definitely showing its age and lack of maintenance and care. Light bulbs were not working and humidity in the building is getting to all the displays. This is a private memorial by the resort owners (not government sponsored) Sir Dunlops ashes (some of them) were spread in the River KWAI in this location as the resort founder was a close friend.
