In a word…amazing. Got some of the best sleep of the trip here. Very kind and generous staff, delicious food, and stunning surroundings. Make sure to walk the short distance to the waterfall and take a dip.

I really liked the place. It feels like in the movies about jungles. The place is good, stuff is amazing and I feel grateful to the team, they really care about guests. Room was good, with everything needed, the breakfast has a lot of different options, so we liked it. Also, they have a lot of options of activities, like tour to national park, or boat trip on the river, etc.

The museum feels a bit abandoned, would be good if photos could be updated there.

We loved the remote feel to this hotel. Surrounded by lush vegetation and fantastic views. Saw water monitor lizards a d many butterflies. Great range of activities for older children who enjoyed the tree top zip lines, free kayaks and d pedal boats. The pool and hot springs were a highlight. Also nearby walk to Mon village. Near to hellfire pass. Helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings.

Some of the dishes were far too spicy in the restaurant even though we asked for a little spice. We couldn’t eat two of the dishes as far too hot. If you do order food and do not like spice ask for no spice. A few other customers also commented on this during our stay.

We booked a villa with the outside hot tub with natural mineral water, the villa was good and the hot tub was good. The staff are very good and respectful.

we were advised that at 1600hrs and 0700hrs a man will come and refill/change the water in the tub. we had to ask for that to happen on the first afternoon, we called reception at approx 1730 hrs . on day 2 by mid afternoon our room had not been serviced, we had to ask for that as well, they did respond quickly. The Weary Dunlop memorial and display is well presented but is definitely showing its age and lack of maintenance and care. Light bulbs were not working and humidity in the building is getting to all the displays. This is a private memorial by the resort owners (not government sponsored) Sir Dunlops ashes (some of them) were spread in the River KWAI in this location as the resort founder was a close friend.
