    I traveled with my partner and stayed in one of the raft rooms. The room was exceptionally clean, older but functional with comfortable beds, blackout curtains, quiet, privacy and excellent water pressure. The beds were comfortable, but on the small side. We chose this hotel because of the free long tail boat shuttle to the Onsen hot springs across the river. Going by car would have been over an hour each way but by boat it's a free 2 minute ride. There are tons of activities available that depart right from the hotel. This property is far from major hubs and you can easily fill several days with activities and tours leaving right from the property. Last boat to the hot spring leaves the hotel at 2pm and departs the spa at 5:30pm. I would recommend showing up and checking in early as the hotel can hold your bags to accommodate the spa trip. Arriving after a massage, facial and soak to your bags waiting in the room is fantastic. Downside with the raft room: if you have mobility issues, do not book a raft room. If you have small children, do not book a raft room. You have to walk across slippery metal bridges to get to and from the room and up a very steep set of stairs. This property is not handicapped accessible or friendly to people with mobility issues. Stay in the main building if mobility or safety of young children is a concern. Another raft room issue: when the spa opens in the morning, the long tail boats are loud and the wake makes the room rock. If you are not comfortable with a room that has some movement like a dock or boat, choose a room on land. Good mix of western and Thai food, upon arrival we had a light lunch at the cafe which was affordable, air conditioned and catered to the various needs of a large group. Nothing to write home about, but got the job done and not pricy. Included breakfast buffet had a large variety but the coffee machine struggled to keep up with guest volume and broke down several times causing a long wait. This hotel is off the beaten path, for the adventurous and is not a 5 star resort. I enjoyed the adventure outside the crazy city of Bangkok and would go back especially for an affordable couples getaway.

    The hotel is very outdated. The raft room felt old, dark, and poorly maintained. I stayed on a Monday and there was no room service at all. The onsen was also closed, which was confusing because the hotel had previously offered an onsen package through Line, even though it wasn’t available. Prices for basic items were extremely high. A small bag of ice was 59 THB, and 5 sodas plus 5 Coca-Colas cost 647 THB. The raft rooms are located very far from the lobby and require walking uphill and then downhill again, which becomes very inconvenient when there’s no room service and you need anything from the restaurant. The shower had no hot water, so I had to take ice-cold showers at night and again in the morning. The air conditioner was extremely loud to the point it sounded like it might break. Adjusting the temperature didn’t work, and the fan speed was stuck on high, so the noise continued throughout the night. Overall, I’m not sure I would recommend this hotel. Our main purpose for visiting was the onsen, and it was closed so it really depends on what you’re expecting from your stay.
