i loved the complimentary breakfast, the staff were excellent and the views were impeccable. super good value room for the price! the restaurant was amazing, great atmosphere and food. easy best stay in ohakune!
there was a loud dog in the room next door to me so it wasn't the quietest of places. i kind of wish there was free wifi throughout the stay as i used my room as a study space for a fair bit of my trip. other than that, the pros outweighed the cons.

The staff and hotel location were great. The bedroom was basic but comfortable with a nice ensuite, free wifi and TV. Nothing to grumble about in terms of cleanliness and room facilities.
Noisy, hard to get a good nights sleep as the walls are so thin and would be woken by 'neigbours' slamming doors (not the hotels fault). The bathroom fans / showers could be heard through the walls. The spa was quite cold and I think a little TLC will likely be in order. It was a little hard to fill the kettle from the sink with little space for this (but able to manage). However, overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
