Effi Apartments

We had a wonderful stay and would like to thank Effii for everything she did for us. Her support and kindness went far beyond what anyone could normally expect from a host, and we truly appreciated it.❤️ The location is perfect, just a short walk from the sea, and the whole property is beautifully maintained. The apartment itself was exceptional: clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What made our stay especially memorable was the warmth and friendliness of Evi, her mother, and the entire team. They create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the very first day. We had an amazing time and can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete. Thank you again for making our holiday so special!

We had a wonderful stay at Effi Apartments. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and the sea view is absolutely breathtaking. The location is also very convenient for exploring Chania. A special highlight was our host, Effi, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She gave us great local recommendations and regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect. We were especially touched by her thoughtful gesture for our son’s birthday, she decorated the room and surprised us with gifts, which made the day truly special. It was a very kind and memorable experience for our family. We highly recommend Effi Apartments and would definitely love to return.

Nothing to dislike, everything was great.

Perfect location in the centre of everything you need but also very peaceful with no traffic noise just the sound of the waves! It is kept super clean, rooms are really well equipped and comfortable. Effi is extremely hospitable and helpful. I asked for help on some things and she is always willing to help. It felt very safe and secure for a solo traveler. Platanias is a beautiful area with loads to explore both inland in the valley, in the older part of the village (war museum etc) and on the coast (watersports, boat trips etc). Lots of great shopping and great quality food, bars, live music. The people are so welcoming and kind. It really is a perfect holiday destination.

There is nothing not to like. It is not like other places but it is unique and has a personality. If you’re expecting a hotel is is not one. There are lots of businesses on either side for food and drinks and even a pool bar if you need it. Direct beach access with Effi and lovely comfortable outdoor seating areas.
