Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya

Really lovely snacks at the bar at 5-8pm, and the capacity to sit outside in a nice courtyard with a cheeky wine or if you like,a lovely tea (they had such an amazing selection!). Location was also fantastic--right next door to a grocery store and really close by the busier Kobe area. I like that it was just a little bit off within the super busy city center. I also appreciated the umbrellas for loan on an unexpectedly rainy day!

I think the cleaners must have been really rushed on that day-- the bag of rubbish was removed from my bin, but it seems the cleaner accidentally left it on my room floor...

Breakfast was supposed to be until 9.30am on weekdays and 10.00am on weekends, but on weekdays by 9.15am the restaurant had already been cordoned off and most of the food cleared away, and on Saturday we were told that breakfast had finished at 9.30am notwithstanding that the breakfast tickets clearly stated that breakfast was until 10.00am with "L.O." at 9.30am, which I took to mean last orders. When I complained to one of the Reception staff, I was meet with argument and told "L.O." meant last entry, which made no sense at all. Very poor handling of a legitimate guest complaint, which soured our stay

Nice, clean, and tv could play American Netflix accounts. Happy hour was good.

Why give you hotel wear like pajama and robes can’t use during breakfast. Most places in Japan allow you to wear them or yukata down at breakfast. If you aren’t allowed atleast display a sign saying you can’t like most places.

Overpriced for the lower quality of this property.
