Guesthouse Wish

Very friendly host and property was as described. Nicely stocked kitchenette, clean room and bathroom.

The host was nice and helpful.

The location was not good, I think the photos are not realistic, the property it is not the same as the photos. The bad is not comfortable.

The host didn’t answer my messages on booking.com for days . One of the rooms that I booked for our group did not have the facilities booking.com said it has (double room should have had a private bathroom, and upon arrival we found out it is actually shared with 2 other rooms). We asked for the lower price for that room (the same as we originally had for the double room with a shared bathroom that I had also booked before , and canceled later because I made it clear I don’t want to share a bathroom with strangers). But the host denied the mistake and demanded more money even though I asked about this particular thing several times via text. I thought there would be a private bathroom in one of the rooms since the “Double room” was about 130 euros more expensive than “Double room with a shared bathroom” on booking.com website. She called me repeatedly on WhatsApp before we came and the only think I got from her was a question about the time of arrival. Our group arrived in the evening. One of the rooms I booked was not available at the time of our arrival despite the fact we had a proper reservation. The host send some of us to sleep to her sister’s house for one night (until she got the room ready).

Jakob (sorry for spelling) was a friendly lady, She met us at the bus station. At first, the surrounding area doesn't appeal me at all. Don't be fooled though, the place itself is really a lovely place. (we laughed for the expression "catastrophic" coming up in every conversation)

Shower does definitely need attention. This was "catastropic"

This was a great place to stay! our host offered us the option to do laundry and it was an easy walk to the old town and bus station.

friendly owners, pretty yard, clean, everything you need in the room, kitchen area, can get bikes (extra) If you need

!! problems with wifi the whole stay !! (unfortunately me and my husband needed it for work badly); shared bathroom, washing machine costs extra, not easy to get to the house from ferry station (but the landlady took us for free in the end)

It was excellent! Great service! That’s exactly what we were looking for. The host was very kind and warm. The place was clean, tidy and good equipped with all you could need. 🌟

Great location Peaceful neighbourhood

Nice room, close to the harbour. We arrived late with the last ferry from Split and were very well welcomed.

Željka is an excellent host. We loved our stay at Guesthouse Wish because she was lovely. I give a warm recommendation to stay here to anyone who wishes to spend time in Stari Grad, it's very close to everything you would need. Thanks again for everything, one of the best vacations in my life. 😍

Nice quiet location in Stari Grad. Comfy bed, AC that works properly. Very nice host.

The owners mother was a charm, spoke no word English but helped us in the kitchen where she could.

This started of with a catfishing situation (sort of). The room we were given was nothing like the pictures displayed on the booking profile. It was a really dark room with just a single small window. After negotiating with the owner she gave us a better price and a room upgrade. It’s all about transparency, we wouldn’t have booked this room if we had known how it looked… at least not to that price. The owner was a bit pushy too, wanting us to pay straight away.

The apartment is way too expensive for what you get

The room is very clean with airconditioning. Good posotion and reasonalby priced.

We had to shower with cold water and our room did not have tv as shown in picture.

Host was super nice and helpful. Location is 3 minutes away from city center. Apartment was super clean and looked exactly like on photos.

We loved everything about Wish.

Gute Lage

Frühstück war gebucht (laut Bestätigung von Booking.com), wurde aber nicht bereitgestellt.

Frau gibt sich Mühe die Unterkunft sauber zu halten. Lage zum Zentrum und Hafen ist in 5min zu erreichen.

Sehr einfache Ausstattung,Dusche und Bad nicht für Gäste zu empfehlen. Der Hinterhof ist nich anschaulich für Urlauber. Alles in allem viel zu teuer! Schade

Toute les portes grinces et en espace partagé cela devient vite infernal (jusqu’à 1 h du matin et à partir de 6h le matin. L’hôte est d’un premier abord sympathique mais peut être lunatique. Nous n’avons pas insisté
