Unbeatable Value and Heartfelt Hospitality – A 24-Day Gem in Patong I stayed at The Frutta Boutique Hotel for a total of 24 days, as I ended up extending my stay while I was there. Full marks from me! I was welcomed with such genuine hospitality. Upon arrival, I even received a free upgrade to a room with a beautiful mountain view, simply because it was available. Overall, the value for money is unbeatable. The location was perfect for me; I had a scooter, but the local shared taxis (songthaews) also service the hotel. You can get to Patong Beach quickly, but you can also reach other beaches easily without having to fight through the Patong traffic every single time. It is also a great starting point for trips to Kathu or Phuket Old Town. While the hotel isn't brand new, the rooms are spotless. The air conditioning is state-of-the-art, the bathroom features a great rain shower, and the mattresses are very high quality and firm. The breakfast is in a league of its own! The coffee is delicious, there are freshly squeezed juices, an endless variety of teas, and of course, toast, oatmeal, butter, jam, and fresh fruit. On top of that, you can order Thai or European dishes à la carte and eat as much as you like. The price for this is sensational. I would love to come back!

In my hometown, Berlin, we have a saying: 'Da kann man nicht meckern' (There’s nothing to complain about). For a Berliner, who loves to complain, that is the highest possible form of praise. I honestly couldn’t find a single thing to criticize—and believe me, we are professionals at finding something! Everything was perfect.
