Beach Grove Villas

Superbe hôtel situé dans la nature au calme. Nous avons vu des singes de loin et plein de jolis oiseaux ! Il est à dix minutes à pieds de la plage. Notre chambre type deluxe était immense, haute de plafond et climatisée. Des équipements comme le frigo le sèche cheveux la bouilloire un coffre sont sont fournis. Elle possède aussi une grande terrasse avec une table et des chaises. La salle de bains est spacieuse avec une belle douche à l’italienne. Une piscine était juste devant notre chambre très agréable pour se détendre en fin de journée ! Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. bref allez y les yeux fermés !

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. the villas are on a hillside set around two beautiful pools and the jungle and its wildlife envelopes you. Rooms are comfortable and large. Owner and staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is simple but fresh and tasty. It is a short (10 min walk) to the beach and a selection of Restaurants. The walk is easy, but take a torch after dark. Beach access is easy. When you get to the main coast road, there is a free access passages 50 metres to the right. or go straight ahead across the road to the owners brother's hotel, which has a great restaurant overlooking the beach

Lovely relaxed property, perfect for a few days of relaxation. Close to the Beach & also close to yoga, fitness studios. The owner, staff and not forgetting his lovely dogs were all so friendly, room was comfortably and clean, it has a real homely vibe. Would defiantly recommend staying here ☺️

The pool was a good size, though it was not always clean. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit juice and fresh fruit. the cook was attentive and offered eggs cooked whichever way we preferred. We found a really reliable tuk tuk driver who took us into Galle on a few occasions and picked us up afterwards at very reasonable rates. Tuktuk drivers in Sri Lanks are always good in agreeing a price for the journey beforehand, and its such a cheap way to travel. The manager was helpful when he was available.

We were misled by our booking, we had booked a room on the ground floor but when we arrived the manager was concerned that he only had a first floor room available and there were lots of steps and stairs to the room which he thought could be a problem for us. He showed us a cabin on a site approx 400mts away which was gloomy and isolated, so we accepted the first floor room. The photos on the website are not accurate, they showed the rooms with seating area and listed some kitchen facilities, however our room was very basic. We were bitten by mosquitos probably not helped by the fact the mosquito net around the bed had holes in it. Also the glass on the table on the balcony had dangerous cracks in it This hotel is quite isolated and a long walk to the nearest beach, better to be nearer to Unawatuna or be prepared to travel by tuk tuk every day. We paid in SL Rupes everywhere we stayed but this manager insisted on the bill being paid in USD. which incurred 3% credit card charge.
