The interior was stylish, my room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and a lavish bathroom. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, with great tips and advice for enjoying my stay. The location was also great, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and cafés. I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the garden with monkeys and peacocks, as well as lots of fruit trees and flowers. I also had a great yoga lesson and learned a lot about local customs and life. Alex and Menaka are the owner-managers of the place and it was really nice being hosted by people who speak both Sinhala and English, live here full-time and can make personal recommendations for their favorite things to do.
