Entirely renovated with taste, it is located on the 4th floor of a building with a lift and benefits from a peaceful balcony, a rare privilege in this lively and historic neighbourhood.
YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
The accommodation is nestled in the Old Nice, one of the most emblematic districts of the city. Just a few minutes walk from the Cours Saleya and its famous market, the Promenade des Anglais, the beach and the lively streets of the historic centre, you will fully enjoy the authentic and vibrant atmosphere of Nice. Restaurants, galleries, shops and the sea are at your doorstep.
STAY
As soon as you enter, you will be seduced by the elegance of the decoration, between white walls, vintage furniture and a warm atmosphere. The living area consists of a lounge space with a 3-seater sofa convertible into an additional bed, a coffee table, a cable television and an audio system for your moments of relaxation. A large old round table and its comfortable chairs create a dining area with timeless charm. Thanks to a large bay window, the room is bathed in natural light and opens onto a calm balcony, perfect for enjoying a coffee or reading in complete tranquillity. Air conditioning ensures a pleasant temperature in all seasons, and Wi-Fi connection is available free of charge.
COOKING
The open, modern and fully equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare your meals in a functional and pleasant setting. You will find a multifunction oven, induction hobs, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine as well as all the necessary utensils. A true asset for cooking fresh market produce, just a few steps from the Cours Saleya.
BEDROOM
The bedroom, peaceful, offers a comfortable double bed and a large wardrobe to facilitate storage. A lovely desk completes this intimate and restful space, ideal for working or simply writing in complete tranquility. Thanks to its location at the back of the building, it guarantees you peaceful nights, away from the hustle and bustle of the seafront.
BATHROOM & TOILET
The bathroom, modern and fully tiled, is equipped with a large glass walk-in shower, an elegant washbasin with storage and a hairdryer. The toilets are separate, for optimal comfort.
A unique place, both chic, comfortable and ideally located, to fully enjoy Nice. Upon request, breakfast can be delivered to you each morning directly to the apartment, at the time of your choice.

How to get to my accommodation in Nice upon arrival
I chose to arrive by air
Upon arriving at the airport, a wide range of transport options are available to you to get to your apartment:
The tram - The best market: Line 2 will depart in front of terminals 1 & 2, serves the entire city on the Sea Side, from the airport to Nice Port, in 25 minutes. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pin district and finally the Port district.
A connection with line 1 is made at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.
A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.
Taxis: The most direct: They are present at each terminal 1 & 2. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is an official fixed rate that must be applied + the baggage rate. Make sure to inform yourself well and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card.
The bus: The shuttle to the airport (bus 98) is both cheap and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the city centre, near Nice Thiers Station.
I chose to arrive by train
The tram - The best market: To get to line n°1, exit to the left of the station and go down towards Thiers Avenue until Jean Médecin Avenue (indicated by signage). Trams pass every five minutes and the ticket has a low cost. Line 1 serves the centre and the two northern districts of Nice.
A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.
A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.
Taxis: The most direct: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is no fixed package. The driver must mandatorily activate his meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare displayed upon arrival + the luggage rate. Make sure to inquire and specify this to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card.
Do not forget to have the complete address ready to be given to the driver.
I chose to arrive by car
There is always a public car park near your place of residence. The rate is:

• Per week
• Per month
It may prove to be more interesting to pay for a week rather than per day for stays longer than 4 days, and so on. Check the rate grid carefully at the parking entrance or go to the security post as soon as you are parked.

Very well-located between the main parts of the Quai des États Unis and the Promenade des Anglais. I would say the property was as described/pictured. The windows open on the central courtyard that gives lots of natural light (and keeps out the street noise on the other side from the Quai des EU). Lots of detailed information is provided on how to operate everything. There are also lots of reminders/rules posted about noise, towels, garbage, cleaning, etc. Sheets and towels provided were fresh/clean. In all honestly, you will probably (hopefully!) spend little time sitting in the apartment other than sleeping and getting ready to go out. Get out and explore Nice or go to the beach!
I would have found this helpful before booking: This appeared to be a private apartment that is managed for rentals by a management company using this site. The check in is located near the Cours Saleya (which was the map location shown for the rental when I booked) and it’s a 5-10 minute walk to this building (which does include an elevator). There were several steps for third-party deposit and payment but communication from the management was clear and adequate.
