Place is okay

Value for money and the location was close to a lot of amenities, restaurants and shops. Staff were very nice. Shower was good too. The room was big enough.

Pool was under maintenance, Breakfast was okay but it starts at 8am I wish it could have been earlier since the guests are leaving early for their tours, the room was clean but the towels were dirty - it was washed but a lot of stains like blood (also the white blanket) and the worse - crashed cockroaches sticking to the towels ew! You can clearly hear the noises from the other rooms.

NOT CLEAN ENOUGH - MOULDY ROOMS

Just the location but to arrive there in Google maps it was showing the wrong location also the actual area is hidden so it's a bit annoying to reach with the car.

The rooms were not nice the first one had problems with the bed and the second one the room smelled mouldy and was smelling like nothing was clean even the bed smelled bad also the previous room smelled bad.

I’m sure this hotel was once wonderful but it is not somewhere I would stay again.

The pool is a great size with plenty of lounge areas to lie. The room was big and had a balcony, fridge, tea/coffee making. Aircon works very well. Staff were pleasant and the garden areas are well maintained.

Extremely dated. The hotel was like a ghost town. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor so we had to walk up 2 staircases, both of which were steep, with broken tiles that were slanted, making them feel quite unsafe. Rooms were extremely basic and bathrooms are very unwelcoming, dirty, broken tiles and hole in wall. Bedsheets had stains and there was a hole in the blanket from what looked like a cigarette burn. The room door seemed to be swollen from moisture and was hard to open and close. The toilet facilities beside the main reception desk are terrible.

Great value for money and a little bit of tropical living meant this hotel offered great rest and relaxation.

Right in the middle of Kuta yet off the main strip, so peaceful and quiet. The pool is lovely, although in need of a touch of maintenance (a few missing tiles). It was excellent value for money.

The toilet seat was wobbly and there was no hair dryer available. No big deal. Just a little annoying.

I booked through my Bookings.com account for $23AUD a room per night. I booked 10 rooms mind you. I needed an extra one on arrival due to a communication breakdown when messaging before arrival. The extra room was billed at $41AUD. Probably ok - but disappointing considering the size of our booking. BE CAREFUL of the hot water. Some rooms had warning signs. Mine didn't. I stepped into the shower and literally gave myself a 2nd degree burn to my head (blisters - the works, 4 weeks of healing needed). Nice place. Just be careful.

Location was in a quilt place, 8 min walking distance to Kuta beach. Everywhere shops and markets around. The pool and the flowers around beautiful.

Good value for money hotel in Kuta

It was in near the centre of Kuta where i wanted to be for access to lots of restaurant and bars, it walking distance <5mins to the beech. Pool is nice and clean, maintained & cleaned every night, my room was right next to the pool. The hotel was clean, paths and communal areas spotless, and the staff excellent. I paid for breakfast once and it was good, not much choice but good, eggs made on the spot and brought to you. It is not that I didn't like anything, for me it was fine for the price I paid. If you want a warm friendly, 'clean' place to stay in Kuta, I thought this is good value for money when I have a larger than normal family needing multiple rooms.

It is not that I didn't like anything, for me it was fine for the price I paid. It is "tired" and needs a facelift/decorating, the walls and ceiling in the bathroom were stained from a previous leak. Some of the blocks around pool were loose (notes by another reviewer), even though we didn't use it. If you want a 5 star experience go elsewhere and pay 3x the money or more. If you want a warm friendly, 'clean' place to stay in Kuta, I thought this is good value for money when I have a larger than normal family needing multiple rooms.

Spacious clean room with outside balcony overlooking pool. Everything looked like it had recently been replaced. Shower cap in bathroom which was a bonus. Great size pool with surrounding deck chairs.

This is a budget hotel, but I at least expected a clean room on arrival

The pool area wasn't bad and had a good atmosphere, until my husband cut the bottom of his foot on a loose tile. It bled quite a bit and the staff member at the reception was little help as he didn't have a complete first aid kit available.

Our flights were delayed, (jetstar of course), so we didn't get into the hotel until almost midnight. When we arrived, the room we were given hadn't been cleaned properly. The linens were stained and smelled, as though they haddn't been changed after the last occupant had checked out. The bathroom smelled of sewage and the walls of the shower were mouldy. The toilet moved like an unbalanced table, the shower head was broken and hanging loose on the wall, we had no towels and the aircon had a leak. Because we had arrived so late there was nothing we could really do about the room until the next morning. Fortunately, later that day, they got us into a different room which was more habitable. The breakfast here was so disappointing that we bypassed it every morning and opted to pay for breakfast outside the hotel. Now I completely understand what budget accomodation now means in Bali especially after covid, however if your hotel is in disrepair, you have a staff shortage and can only offer bare minimum amenities...it would be prudent to make sure those bare minimums are up to par. Meaning, make sure the rooms are immaculate and if breakfast options are in short supply maybe cut that out of the room option and put the money back into the upkeep of the hotel.

Aussies on HOLIDAY

The air con in room was nice and cool. Beds were very comfy and firm. Pool was nice and clean. Bottled water everyday.

The shower was awful! Took very long to get hot water then it was spraying everywhere. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up and hit you when you sat on toilet. Around pool was quite unsafe with loose tiles. Rubbish around pool that was not picked up. The phone in room did not work!

Worst stay! Wouldn’t book this hotel

Booked a night at Bali Sands resort before we flew out the following night. Have to say this is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at. I’m not normally fussy or judgemental but the place is a total dump. I understand sometimes low cost isn’t always the nicest of places but there is no excuse for filth.Stained sheets and towels, mouldy bathroom, smelly rooms and a kettle that looks like you would get sick if you boiled water in it. The room has doors and cupboards hanging off, the shower head is screwed on a side so when you turn it on it sprays all over the bathroom. You have to hold the head to shower as you can’t even get under it. The shower curtain is disgusting. You don’t even feel clean after a shower. I had to wash my feet and sliders before I left for the airport, I just felt unclean. The lamps in the room are mucky and do not work, the wifi is so bad. Out on the balcony having a telephone call and you can see rats running around. I’ve stayed in 3 star and this is definitely not 3 star. We only stayed one night and if it was for anything longer we would have left. The hotel does not look like what it portrays on booking it needs some serious maintenance. The nicest thing about this hotel is the gardens and pool area. Also the staff are lovely and very helpful and it’s close to everything Overall I would not come back to this hotel.
