Not a good place to stay unless you are alone and without car and styling in winter or not hot weather

It’s located in central part walking area

Property hasn’t got hotel reception, it’s very confusing to check in, apparently so many people having same issues, bar and hotel got same name but nothing to do with hotel. Room hasn’t got airconditing it wasn’t possible to sleep on 30 degrees with 3 years old son, additionaly had to pay for parking €16 and walk 10min to get back to room.

A wonderful place to stay at the border of three countries

wonderful rooms, very modern equipment, beautiful pictures on the wall. Foremost the location of the hotel in the center of Lörrach is unmatchable. Breakfast was great value for money! Check-in was easy (key-automat)

Great and relaxing stay!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. As a young woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. It is located in a very cute square and is well connected to the train station that leads to Basel City. The room is well equipped with high quality shampoos, soaps, etc, as well as a hair dryer and complementary coffe, tea, and water. Room number 1 has a very nice view to the square, with the morning sun hitting the room. It is spacious, with good storage space.

Reception is only open a few hours a day, which could be an inconvenience if you need a service or assistance. There is no room service or phones in the rooms.

Overall OK - would go again but not necessarily my first choice

Location was great - staff were friendly but often absent (took quite a while to check in / out due to low staff). Rooms were nice.

Air conditioning for rooms would be a huge bonus - as it opens onto a loud street, opening the windows at night is noisy and in 35+ degrees, some level of cool for the room is essential.

When I arrived at the hotel location, I went to the reception (on the 2nd floor by lift) – but it was closed and a note told me to all a specific number . When doing so – I was informed to go back to the ground floor (I had my luggage with me!) to get my room key from a key box. Why was this information not on the ground level entrance ?- The rom was nice – rather new – but without a single piece of information (e.g. useful telephone numbers (e.g. taxi, short map of Lörrach, restaurant around the hotel , not even the number to call for the telephone reception support ). I had to phone the support number again to ask them to order a taxi for the next day. There was no telephone in the room –I had to use my mobile. The equipment of the room was meager – a table and one chair (though it was a double bed room). The electrical system was odd – when turning off the floor lamp in the corner , the electricity of all rooms was off and only by switching on the floor lamp (find it in the dark!) electricity was back to the room! There was no mat in front of the shower – I had to use one of the towels. The bed lamp at the left side was broken. The total experience was rather disappointing – despite a very good breakfast board.

TV and talking from neighouring room was audible. Otherwise noise from the outside not a problem. Also the glass door on the toilet needs more than just 1 night's stay to get used to.

Location and good value for money in a nice small town

Location, size of the room, storage inside the room, large shower, good communication upon check-in and a lovely view from our room out over the Square (think it was room 11). Great value for money and close to everything you need (small town). Parking garages (several) nearby costing EUR 12 per day (Am Burghof) which we found to be quite cheap by European Standards.

We couldn't figure out some of the lights but that was nothing serious. An extra pillow would have been appreciated.

Excellent choice for your family stay right in Lörrach center and only minutes to Basel.

The staff were very friendly and welcomed us kindly already in the email. The breakfast was tasty, had variety and was a very value. Even though it is in the very center of Lörrach, we heard no noise whatsoever. This was our second stay and will be our go-to place when we return. A big thank you.

Check-in was a bit confusing at first but then it made sense. For being an art-themed hotel, the art leaves much to be desired but that is purely in the eye of the beholder. That said, the interior design is great. I loved the coffee table book on Mexico.
