Absolutely brilliant

Such an easy walk from the train/bus station. Great Location. Despite being next to a road with traffic there was no issue with sounds from traffic or from other guests. My room had a private balcony with the most amazing view of the Zugspitze and surrounding mountains. Staff were so kind and helpful and not invasive at all. Facilities were great. Super cozy, very comfy and very clean. My room came equipped with small fridge, kettle, cups and spoons.

Would be good if there was a bowl/plate in the room.

A great place to stay

The guest house was great. It was very spacious and comfortable and I love that there was a little kitchen so I could self cater, which I usually prefer when travelling solo. location only 1km from the station and very close to bus stops to travels to Eibsee or the Alpsitzbahn etc. I also had a lovely view from the balcony

It was a lovely place to stay.

It had everything we required for our 15 night stay. We liked particularly the open space of the two balconies and the help of a washing machine. It is near the centre of the Garmisch side of town. Everything is within easy walking distance. The beds are comfortable. The Proprietor is helpful and friendly. We celebrated a 70th birthday while there and Brigitte sent a card and present. A lovely, considerate gesture. Warmly appreciated. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend and shall hopefully return for future holidays when possible.

Great location and charming property

Charming guest house. We had a nice sized room with a balcony and lovely view of mountains. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping and on site parking.

Our room faced the street, which we knew when booking. It's quite a busy street and there is traffic noise during the day, especially with the windows open. It does quiet down at night for sleeping.

cozy but..

I really liked the look and feel of the apartment. Really nice decor and very cozy. Good location with only a 10 min walk to the train stations, downtown and the closest ski resort. Impressive views of the mountains as well. I’d imagine a dream stay in summer with all the balcony space. The bathroom was also warm and comforting after a long day in the snow. :)

The floor heating In the bedroom was broken always (set to 30 deg but cold) for which I had to wear all my ski layers to sleep but still ended up waking up in the middle of the night. I deducted points because of this and for which the owner was extremely unfriendly after I complained. It was recommended that I leave all the doors in the apartment open to distribute the heat, but this led to another problem, later in the night sweating because the floor heating/distribution takes a long time to stabilize, and even worse if you have to open the windows/Doors in the case of after cooking a meal. no way tho get a stabile temperature through the night. I have added points back because they brought a gas stand heater which was nice to use after opening the windows/doors. In the end the solution was to set all remaining heaters on 30 deg which resulted in a sauna everyday coming back, but for which seemed to work though sometimes uncomfortable and not eco friendly. Minor: kitchen could use better utensils for example bigger pan/chopping knife.

Good location, unresponsive staff

Great location, good value, unresponsive unfriendly staff

The hotel stopped responding to my messages requesting late check-in, after 1900, even though I offered to pay a fee. This forced me to book another room for my first night of the trip to ensure I had a place to stay. When I checked in the next morning they were rude and angry saying that I didn’t inform them about my arrival time and that they waited for me, even though they didn’t respond to or acknowledge my messages.

Hier kommt man gerne wieder!

Das Apartment war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. In der Küche war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Es gab sogar eine Waschmaschine. Der Bahnhof liegt ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Die Bushaltestelle an der nächsten Ampel. Der Weg ins Zentrum und zu allen Geschäften sowie Restaurants ist ebenfalls fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Check-In und Check-Out verlieren problemlos und sehr freundlich.

Der Duschkopf ist leider gebrochen.

Top Lage wenn auch direkt an der Straße … man ist in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt. Betten waren sehr bequem.

Grundsätzlich sauber aber auf einige Stellen (Spinnenweben, kaputte Handtücher und renovierungsbedürftiges Bad) könnte mehr Augenmerk gelegt werden.

Klare Empfehlung!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Es war im besten Sinne ein „Gästehaus“: unkompliziert, freundlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Küche ist ohne überflüssigen Schnickschnack, aber komplett eingerichtet – perfekt für Selbstversorger. Unser Apartment in der Mitte war auch an warmen Tagen angenehm. Besonders praktisch: Auf dem Flur gibt es günstig Mineralwasser und Kaffee zu kaufen. Alles war sauber, der Check-in verlief absolut reibungslos. Die Lage ist top – die Bushaltestelle ist direkt in der Nähe, der Bahnhof fußläufig problemlos erreichbar. Klare Empfehlung!

Die Haltestelle ist in der Nähe, der ÖPNV in der Region ist allerdings etwas ausbaufähig- da kann die Unterkunft natürlich nichts machen, aber es ist gut zu wissen, wenn man ohne Auto anreist.

Schön, gemütlich, zentral

Schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Alles entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man ganz einfach mit dem Bus erreichen. Die Haltestelle war in der nähe. Einfach Klasse und den Preis wert.

Den Kühlschrank würde ich im Flur stellen. Jedes Mal, wenn er sich laut einschaltete, wachte ich von dem Geräusch auf.
