The view was incredible! And we liked not being in town where it was very crowded and hectic. The apartment was spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. Reasonable walk to the terminal station.
Having to go all the way into town to pick up and drop off the key was a little inconvenient, especially when coming into town for the first time with all our luggage and not knowing our way around yet. The beds were not very comfortable - the mattresses were hard and thin and the pillows could use an upgrade. Also including soap in the shower would be helpful.

Nagano is a spacious & well decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and has a spectacular view of the Jungfrau mountain. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything a person could need. It has a parking space which was wonderful. It's an easy walk -- although totally uphill --to central Grindelwald. This chalet seems completely comfortable and homey.
Rental accommodations never supply enough towels; they never have enough ice trays for ice cubes; they rarely have literature in English explaining where attractions are & how to get there; where someone can buy groceries or dine out. I realize a lot of travelers are Europeans who know how things work, but guests from other countries are fairly clueless.

Perfect location for the mountains, activities, cable cars, shops, restaurants etc. The apartment was nice and clean, beautiful view from the balcony of the Eiger.
