Felt Like Home, But Even Better. Perfection by the beach!

From the moment you arrive, you feel the warmth and elegance of this place. Petra, the owner and manager, is truly exceptional—professional, attentive, and wonderfully down-to-earth. She has a special talent for making you feel instantly at home while still delivering a high-end experience. Paula was an absolute delight during check-in and breakfast—genuinely caring, attentive, always smiling, and incredibly charming. Silvia is equally impressive: hardworking, friendly, and dedicated to making every moment perfect. The property itself is a gem, the lobby, the garden - EVERYTHING. Its location is unbeatable—right on the beach and just steps away from the main street, yet the area remains peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are beautifully designed, each with its own unique character, offering both comfort and style. Very clean and fantastic amenities! Same the laundry-service - it was very fast and perfectly done for very affordable price! Breakfast is simply outstanding: homemade bread, fresh ingredients, and a level of quality and care that you can taste in every bite. Communication before my stay was fast, flexible, and highly professional. They also organized seamless transfers to and from Rio airport and shared excellent recommendations for restaurants and local experiences. In every way, this stay exceeded my expectations. A truly special place with an unforgettable team. I miss you but definitely come back! 💛💛💛

Staff attention is critic proof, Petra is an amazing hostess and the breakfast is second to none: the pearls from their bakery (also named Balthazar) are the delicacies we taste right morning. The localization is an asset in a place where parking a car can be a nightmare in the most crowded times: close enough by walk to what matters in Búzios.

Outstanding - unique - from every point of view

In every respect according to description. Overwhelming hospitality. Petra, Felix and family live their idea and let their guests participate completely. We stayed for ten days and felt absolutely at home. Even special requests - for example: almond milk - got happily fulfilled. „Lady Bountiful“ Silvia took care of our room in an excellent manner. Whenever we get back to Búzios we will return to this fantastic place!

We loved our stay here. Not only is the property beautiful & in a fab location, but the hosts are wonderful. They went out of their way to make our honeymoon special & were super helpful when making reservations & our onward journey. As other reviews state the breakfast is delicious! Espaço, ambiente e o atendimento . Café da manhã maravilhoso . Mas não se trata de uma “Pousada” mas sim um B&B em uma residência que disponibiliza 5 ótimas suítes para receber hóspedes.

Falta de canais de TV aberta. Estava disponível somente para uso de apps do hóspede ( Netflix, Globo play…)

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i Búzios! Vi bodde på Balthazar’s, og alt var helt perfekt – både vakkert og koselig. Maten var utrolig god, med hjemmebakt brød og alt laget fra bunnen av – fra smør til yoghurt. Alt serveres i nydelig miniatyr-bestikk og porselen, noe som gjør måltidene ekstra sjarmerende. Vertinnen Petra er utrolig hyggelig og hjelpsom, og gir mange gode tips om området. Et rolig og behagelig sted, med kort vei til sentrum. Anbefales på det varmeste! 🌸

Maravilloso y recomendado

Nuestra experiencia en la villa fue maravillosa, todo el lugar es hermoso y bien ambientado, quedamos maravillados con la cantidad de naturaleza que se puede apreciar tanto dentro como fuera de a villa, se preocupan por cada detalle para que tu estancia sea perfecta, te otorgan todo lo necesario y todo es muy limpio. El desayuno fue otra experiencia, estaba exquisito y muy bien preparado, todo es fresco y de calidad, están atentos en todo momento por si necesitas o quieres algo más. La piscina es ideal para una tarde de relajo, te facilitan toallas en caso de necesitarlas y está disponible siempre. Sin duda quedamos encantados con todo lo que es la Villa, sus habitaciones, su desayuno, su ambientación e incluso el personal que se encarga de todo, son todos muy amables y serviciales, definitivamente los entrañaremos mucho, pronto volveremos a visitarlos y compartir nuevamente ¡gracias!

La maison est superbe, décorée avec goût et super bien entretenue. On s’y sent comme à la maison dès l’arrivée. Paola et Solange, toujours souriantes, attentionnées et aux petits soins — elles rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. Et que dire du petit-déjeuner… Tout est 100 % fait maison, copieux, frais, délicieux et avec amour — un vrai plaisir chaque matin. L’emplacement est top, proche du centre et des plages mais au calme, et la piscine/jardin parfaits pour se détendre après les balades.

Una maravilla

La ubicación no puede ser mejor, a pasos del centro y de la famosa Rua das Pedras. Los anfitriones y en especial Petra son muy simpáticos y entregan muy buenas recomendaciones de donde ir, donde comer y qué hacer. El desayuno es toda una experiencia y me atrevería a decir que es de los mejores que he probado en mi vida, se nota el amor que le ponen a casa cosa que hacen y entregan. La habitación está llena de detalles que te alegran la estancia. El jardín tiene mucho verde y me encantó. La piscina es pequeña pero muy cómoda. Y si, el precio es un poco elevado pero vale la pena quedarse en un lugar así.

Experiência encantadora na Villa Balthazar!

A pousada é pequena, charmosa e super acolhedora. Os donos, suíços, são extremamente simpáticos e receptivos. A gerente Paula é um amor de pessoa — atenciosa, divertida e muito presente. Toda a equipe é gentil, inclusive a funcionária da limpeza, que foi um doce! O café da manhã é um verdadeiro destaque: frutas frescas, salada de frutas, iogurte com mel, geleias artesanais e pães incríveis de fermentação prolongada, feitos por eles mesmos. Descobri que são também donos da Balthazar Bakery, em Búzios, onde comprei a granola e os pães — tudo delicioso! A localização é excelente, pertinho da Rua das Pedras. Dá pra ir a pé tranquilamente à noite. Um lugar cheio de carinho e boas energias. Voltarei com certeza!
