The most beautiful onsens I’ve ever seen. So relaxing, tranquil and peaceful. Right next to the roaring, aqua river so you hear the water flow from your room and around the property. Spacious room with beds from heaven and lovely forest views. Food was delicious, lots of drinks and ice cream in lounge. Beautiful hike to Joren Falls along the river.
There was nothing I didn’t like. If I had to make a suggestion maybe a bigger variety of snacks in the lounge.

Complimentary Cafeteria is superb. Onsen with Hot Sauna and Cold bath is perfect for onsen resort. Food is excellent

Out of our 2 trips to Japan and staying at very very nice properties, this one was by FAR our favorite! 1 night truly was not enough and I wish I booked us for 2. This ryokan was truly such a special experience… they really thought of everything for your utmost comfort and relaxation. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this relaxed in my life! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the food and drinks delicious and plentiful. The staff were so warm and welcoming, as was the overall atmosphere of the ryokan. The bath options were all incredible, the futons comfortable, the game room and lounge with fireplace are excellent touches!! I truly can’t thank the wonderful staff here enough for making our stay so relaxed and welcoming, THANK YOU and we will totally be back when we are in Japan again.

Absolutely one of the most charming and relaxing locations I have ever visited. The staff was exceptional, the food was delicious, the room was very comfortable, and the hot springs were amazing.
