Anna Studio

The property is very cute, very clean and very close to the beach! Unfortunately the weather was bad so we couldn’t enjoy that much, but I believe it is a perfect beach stay when the weather is good! The bus stop is very close so we had no problem finding the place. The staff is very nice, kind and hospitable! We were able to contact them by calling them on their telephone number before arriving.

Very conveniently located, close to the beach and tavernas/supermarkets, extremely clean, very good room size and nice balcony, towels changed every other day, bed changed after 3 days, very good value for money.

The surroundings are not that nice to look at (some dilapidated buildings and vacant lots) but you can’t really fault the property for that.

Anna Studio was our last accommodation after travelling around Crete, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the nicest stays of the entire trip. From the moment we arrived, Anna made us feel genuinely welcome. She is an incredibly warm and friendly person and greeted us with water, juice, schnapps — or basically whatever else we might have wanted :D. It immediately felt much more personal than simply arriving at another hotel. The room itself exceeded our expectations by a lot. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious, bright and clearly very well maintained. Everything felt carefully looked after rather than just prepared for the next guest. We also had a really nice, large balcony, which made the room feel even more open. You can actually see the sea from the property, and when it is quiet you can hear it as well. Considering the beach is literally around a two-minute walk away, the location is fantastic if you want to spend some time by the water without having to drive anywhere. The property is officially listed only around 70 metres from the sandy beach, so it really is that close. The bathroom deserves a mention of its own. It was unusually large, very bright, modern and extremely clean, with everything we needed inside. After staying in quite a few different places around Crete, having a bathroom with that much space was definitely appreciated. The room also has air conditioning, although we never actually needed to use it. There was a proper mosquito net, so we could simply leave the window open and enjoy the fresh air instead. Another thing we really appreciated was how peaceful the area was at night. Despite being close to Heraklion, the neighbourhood was calm and quiet. No shouting, loud music or people making noise outside, so we slept very well. We specifically chose Anna Studio for our final two nights because we had a very early flight from Heraklion Airport. It worked perfectly for that purpose: the airport is roughly a 15-minute drive awa

Honestly, there was nothing worth complaining about — our stay exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way.

We had a wonderful stay. The room and facilities were very clean and modern, providing a comfortable environment. Despite our very late check-in, retrieving the keys from the secure box was straightforward and easy. The hosts were lovely and incredibly hospitable, making us feel welcome. Additionally, the air conditioning worked perfectly to keep us cool throughout the night. A major plus was the location, as it is just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

The bed was a little too soft for me, but that is purely a matter of personal preference :)
