Great accommodation to visit Crete by car

The room was very nice, we appreciated having the balcony as well. The view on the pool when arriving to the 3rd floor was great. The staff was nice and accommodating (late checkin). There is a free parking nearby. The location is 10min from Heraklion by car, 5/10 min walk to the beach.

The only thing would be the breakfast (eggs were cold)

Great and very cosy boutique hotel. Thanks to the staff for organizing a private transfer and a rental car. Hats off for the amazing breakfast each day. The location is easy to access by bus that goes to the airport as well

unorganized but near souvenir stores.

We did not get to stay in Lino Mare Boutique Hotel. Two days before our stay they informed us they would not be able to open for business and they would reallocate us. With so little time to find another hotel I allowed them to reallocate us. When we arrived to the new hotel named Castro Hotel they were not aware we were coming. The hotel room was small with two twin beds that were very uncomfortable and a very small shower.

The staff was nice and near souvenir stores.

Breakfast is very tasty, everything is fresh! The location is great, close to a bus stop and very close to the beach. The hotel is wonderful. My vacation was great. The room is updated, good repair, there is a balcony, air conditioning, coffee machine andcosmetics. The staff is very nice and always helped with everything. A great team. The beach is very close. The pool has a beautiful view of the city and mountains. The cleaning is excellent. Sincere recommendation, everything is great here.

i had such a great experience in the hotel ! The location is good, close to the sea and restaurants The room was nice, really spacious, I was upgraded Antonis was really helpful and kind, he made my stay in Crete unforgettable I can’t wait to come back again !

Great location, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff

The location is great, just a walking distance from the sea, the bus stop is at the hotel (you can get to Heraklion, Knossos, the waterpark, and airport). There are lots of restaurants and small shops where you can buy some food, drinks, and souvenirs. The breakfast was diverse and delicious: eggs, bacon, cereals, cheese, meat, vegetables, fruit, bakery, and good coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful, they were always eager to help. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Though the balcony didn't have a spectacular view, it was nice to sit there in the evening.

The bathroom looked a bit old. The bath and the sink had some cracks. But everything was clean. There was no "Don't disturb" sign and not enough cutlery.

Such a nice place to stay

A very nice room and a pleasant roof terrasse ! The people from the hotel were so nice and sympathetic which made us have a very good time there ! It is one of this places that feels like home far from home !

Great location and rooftop pool is amazing

It is an excellent boutique hotel, situated in the best location of Amoudara, right in the middle of it. Just 5 minutes walk from the beach (many beaches to choose from, you just need to pay for drinks and you receive set of umbrella and sunbeds), we had a balcony facing the sea, marvelous view. Breakfast is very good. Room is very spacious and clean. But the main attraction is definitely the roof top pool (open 24/7). It is just amazing, can't describe. Host is kind. We arrived at the location taking the local bus from the Heraklion airport, in front of main parking, it is a small bus station (36 minutes, only 1.5 euro, runs every 30 minutes, and the stop is 50 metres away from the hotel).

Furniture is just a bit outdated.

Hotel is located at the main street, free parking is available 50 meters away. Stuff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious. Bus stop is right by hotel, from where you can easily reach the Heraklion center.

Traffic noise during the night. Perhaps it would be better to close the windows, but i prefer fresh air.

I would recommend this place to stay to everyone who is looking for a real quiet holiday.

Location is excellent, markets and restaurants and beach just around the corner (5 min walk). Very quiet area, perfect for rest. All the hotel staff is very nice , friendly ( Antonnis, Poppy, Dona, and the owner). They take care of the safety corona-related, very clean, comfy rooms and beds, changing the sheets and towels every 3rd day. Slavko & Milena

The location is exceptional.

Location location location! We stayed a night as we want to be nearer to the ferry port which is just 15mins away.Frontdesk Staff is helpful helping us book a taxi for pick up at 6am and taxi is early! There’s a supermarket just beside the hotel and a restaurant just opposite which provides free indoor playground for its patrons(highly recommended for family with young children)

I don’t find the room is clean properly. Had a bad rashes on my body as i find the bed is dusty. Not sure if it was vacant for a couple of days .

В целом мы остались довольны! Остановились на 14 дней, нас порадовал просторный номер, ежедневная уборка и смена полотенец. Персонал был очень дружелюбным. Особенно впечатлил бассейн на крыше с красивым видом. Расположение отличное - рядом магазины, остановка, до пляжа всего около 5 минут пешком.

Телевизор в номере не поддерживает интернет и блютуз, на нашем этаже часто были сбои с вай-фай соединением, завтраки однообразные - каждый день одно и то же, часто еда уже была остывшая
