It was absolutely beautiful and our favourite hotel of the trip. So memorable
It was amazing to try the Japanese traditional food but sometimes our limited palette would have liked a more western option.

Authentic design, incredibly kind staff members. We could really feel like in a time travel. The onsen, the food service in the suite, the extremely kind receptionist, all essential elements are in place. It was the perfect location to go to Fuji.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. The gardens are beautiful, the room was fantastic, and the staff very welcoming.
The hotel had a lot of other guests but it felt at times we were the only ones from how quiet it was.
The facilities are amazing and the room was exactly what we were looking for. It looks just like a traditional Japanese house, with a touch of modernity.
It’s a 2-hour trip from Tokyo but it might be a bit hard to get to if you’re coming from other cities like Osaka. Tip: There’s a direct coach from Shinjuku that is much cheaper than the train and takes just as long.
I like fish, but I must warn those who aren’t fans that the meals were heavily fish based (including breakfast) and there are not many alternative options available.
