I expected a little more from the dinner
10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
It felt like a slice of paradise. Serene, beautiful, full of nature inside and out. My husband and I loved everything about the property, the look, feel, the staff and the food was unbelievably good. We also really enjoyed the onsen! It felt like time had stopped. I give it 100/100. I did need a double futon by night three which the hotel happily accommodated.
I was disappointed with Isawa-Onsen itself. There seems to be absolutely nothing to it. If you are planning to fully immerse yourself in the Ryoken experience it won’t be an issue.

The place was immaculate, the staff was incredible, the food was delicious, the hot spring was invigorating. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Nothing, everything was exceptional

Absolutely everything. My room had a great view to the garden and the Koi fish were swimming around. Staff was excellent, specially Mito-chan. Onsan was beautiful.
Nothing to add
