The continental breakfast was excellent. The second morning we went to their sister hotel for full English. This was very small in comparison but tasty nether the less.
Cooked breakfast in sister hotel.

Located just a short distance from St Davids set in 12 acres of grounds Penrhiw Priory is the ideal place to relax. You always get a friendly welcome, the rooms (we have stayed in 3 of them so far) are large, with a sizeable bathroom, some with bath some with shower. The breakfast is continental but is more than sufficient to start the day. They bake fresh danish pastries every day and they are to die for!! The beds are super comfy, even my husband sleeps better and he's an insomniac! If you are looking to get away from it all in stunning surroundings then this is the place, can't fault it, staff great nothing too much trouble.

We like St. Davids and this was a short break and a return visit for us.
The accommodation in a tastefully restored large Victorian house was very pleasant and was within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the town.
The house had attractive well-cared for gardens around it and easy parking and access. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable. It was well appointed and was serviced while we were there.
We had a splendid continental breakfast with plenty of everything. The staff were friendly and really helpful. We felt very welcome.
We walked in and out of St Davids several times. The route we took went straight to the historic Bishop's Palace (CADW/English Heritage) which was a fascinating visit and St Davids Cathedral next to it. Short uphill walk into the town and pubs and shops. Two miles in the opposite direction from Penrhiw Priory gets you to Whitesands Beach and the Coastal path.
It was all good.

Beautiful building, great location to start hikes along the Pembrokeshire coast and to walk to the village for dinner. Room was very large and had all the amenities, but could do with a freshen up (I just dislike carpet in hotel rooms). Cooked breakfast could be booked extra, but needed to be taken at the larger sister hotel (5 minutes away by car).
Nothing.

I couldn’t fault this hotel. The room was beautiful and equipped with a coffee machine and lots of little useful touches such as shower cap, ear plugs plus gowns and slippers. We made use of the torches by the front door, which were a thoughtful touch, as we decided to walk into the centre for food. It was only 10 minutes away, but down a dark narrow road. We both slept well in the comfortable bed and enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast in the dining room with friendly and helpful staff on hand serving fresh tea and coffee.
I really couldn’t fault this hotel and will be looking for an excuse to visit the area in the future just so we can book it again!

Penrhiw Priory is in a beautiful location and historical building. We were in the 'Treetops' room which was spacious and immaculate and our favourite accommodation on our trip. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was served downstairs and was more than sufficient and very tasty.
Highly recommend and would give 10/10.
The only complaint was only staying one night! We would have loved to have stayed longer but our travel plans didn't allow for it.

Luxury accommodation close to St David’s. A really nice setting and pleasant stroll into town.
We really wanted a cooked breakfast so chose the option of driving to the sister hotel. It would have been nice to stay put and be offered a simple cooked option. The continental option looked and smelled wonderful but my husband wanted egg and bacon!!

The location was excellent only short drive into St.David's and its attractions. The rooms were plainly furnished in the style of the original Priory and we had 6 nights of peace & quiet. The breakfasts were adequate and the service excellent.
The door handles & locks were difficult to say the least.
An Aerated Tap fill for the bath is a no no. Too slow and aeration cools the water.
Chinese toiletries smacks of cutting costs.

Very professional - clearly a “sister” of the main hotel. Excellent facilities. Although breakfast on offer was only continental, there was an extensive choice of good quality produce.
It was advertised as a 20-minute walk to the main hotel where we ate an excellent meal one evening - however, the walk was up/down hills along a narrow and wooded lane - not an attractive proposition on a wet night (similar walking into St David’s).

Peaceful.
Staff that treated one respectfully and attentively.
A tiny point, but it may help in future if creating new rooms- the lighting was very off, series of weak spot lights in a high ceiling, only one bedside light for a large double bed, and the shade for that was in the main not shading, therefore dazzling on the eye, as one went about the rooms. The worst was the bathroom mirror with strips of light around it, one could hardly see one’s self for light splay. In addition it was almost painfully bright. We tried to switch it off, but this couldn’t be done unless the entire bathroom lights were out. The lighting wasn’t well done, and probably designed by someone that doesn’t have to spend time in that room. I’m only saying to give feedback as requested. Thank you

This hotel is beautiful. We have stayed in all 3 of this groups hotels now and this was by far our favourite, although the other 2 are also very nice.
The location is fab. Walking distance to both St David’s and Whitesands beach if you have a little fitness or very quick drive if not. Local beach is perfect for stroll or quick sea swim.
Very clean and comfortable (bed was so comfy). Lovely bathroom and sitting room. Charming garden and green space area. Very quiet and secluded. Generally a very relaxing stay.
Breakfast was tasty, good quality and plentiful. Staff were extremely polite and friendly.
The sink tap was very stylish but hard to get cold water out of. There was nowhere to get cold water in the hotel to drink once bottled water gone.

The hotel is beautiful and stands in a very quiet area close from the city center. The staff was very kind, helpful and organised.
The ventilation system in the bathroom is noisy and never stops. The window blind in the bathroom was broken and let some light pass through the room early in the morning. The breakfast selection was limited.

Amazing location, from the moment you arrive you feel the history of the building. But saying that, it is fitted with everything a modern residence would need comfortwise. Clean and well furnished rooms, staff are amazing and environment is ideal.
Absolutely nothing to mention here!

Breakfast was good , Cold water in fridge, Plenty of teas and coffee even offered free teas and coffee downstairs anytime. It was lovely and peaceful there
Keeping an eye on the bottles in the shower, but it wasn’t anything major.

Beautiful rooms in a lovely house and gardens. Staff were lovely when they were there half of the time and the rest of the time we were free to wander and use the building :)
Small point - the double doors to the bathroom rattled at night and the fan came on as soon as you entered. Was a bit noisy.

Very quiet location but only 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Everything we needed - lovely and adequate continental breakfast.
We would have booked a different room as the one we had had sloping ceilings and was a bit restrictive for my husband.

Fabulous stay at Penrhiw Priory. Beautiful accommodation with great facilities. Very comfortable and ideally placed for exploring St David's and beautiful Pembrokeshire. The continental breakfast is lovely and the staff absolutely brilliant. Love this place so much!
Everything was great! No issues at all.

Locations was stunning, dingly-dell beauty - peaceful and secluded, fab shower and bath in the room, very comfortable bed, and the communal lounge was a lovely bonus.
No negative comments, only was a little odd to drive to the sister hotel for breakfast, but that’s a very, very minor thing.

Room was spacious, clean, bed very comfortable, we both slept very well. Tea and coffee provided, small fridge with milk an water. We were in the annexe and breakfast was in the main building. Continental breakfast was great - cereals, fruit, meats, cheese, freshly cooked pastries to die for, bagels, croissants, brown and white bread for toast. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, would stay here again definitely! Location is SO peaceful you can hear the birds sing!! Woodland walks nearby, and St David's Cathedral only a 10 min walk away the ideal spot for relaxation.
Not enough raspberry croissants at breakfast, buts that is only because they are so divine!

Beautifully renovated building in a pretty garden. Staff were attentive and the continental breakfast was very nice. Our bedroom was large and comfortable with tea, coffee, fresh milk and water replenished each day.
It is a little way out of town down a narrow lane, but is close to the Cathedral.
The need to check in at the sister hotel is a bit annoying but was handled quickly.
The bathroom in our room was separated by sliding doors, which don’t close very well and rattled when we had the window open.

Well appointed room, comfortable bed, ample well stocked continental breakfast, attentive and helpful staff, adequate parking, restful surroundings.
Minor point - breakfast starting half an hour earlier would have intruded less into the morning. Be aware that there is no lift.
