Great well equipped property in a fantastic location!
Lovely well equipped property in an excellent location. Close to Solva harbour and excellent pubs and a cute cafe next door! The property was clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The top floor loft room was warmer than the rest of the house on cooler days. The front parking space was a real bonus and the local shop up the hill is great for provisions. Our family really enjoyed our stay at Tan y Craig and Solva.
The ground floor lounge and kitchen were a little chilly on a couple of cooler days that we were there, however there is a log burner and we sat upstairs in the loft room which was warm and flooded with light!

Good locatiobDisappointing.
Location
Not clean. Smelt damp. Fridge and several kitchen lights not working - fridge temperature rose to 12 degrees despite us using the cooling function. Intolerable road noise - single glazing on the main arterial road to St David’s ?… - but others have complained and hosts clearly not prepared to do anything about this.

Exceptional
Has everything you can think of, even a side entrance leading to an outside shower. Perfect for adventure people with wetsuits or those with doggies. The upstairs lounge / terrace was exceptional. The view of the mountainside from the back of the house was super cool. Great bakery next door that sells vegan hazelnut pan au chocolats and almond croissants!! Solva great for getting around Pembrokeshire - St David's / Caerfai Bay, Broad Haven, Little Haven, Martins Haven, New Gale to name a few. Would absolutely stay again.
Two of the rooms are bunk beds so not amazing when booking for a group of friends but otherwise the property is so amazing you can make do!
