Green Acres Cottages

We like the situation -the view is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, it is nice that we could sit outside at the wooden table. The stove was good, ditto the dishwasher and fridge.

We would have liked at least one bigger pot as there were 5 of us. The pots suited a group of three. We would have liked to see the manager more than once.

Green acres is located in the beautiful hills above Par Beach in east Cornwall. As such it is close to, but away from, the hustle and bustle of coastal Cornwall, especially relevant during the English summer. Upon arrival, we found our unit (No 7) to be spotless, with a spacious living area and kitchen on the ground floor, with bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom facilities are conveniently on both levels. To summarise, we found our apartment to be extremely well appointed.

I thought everything was just perfect

The view was amazing, very peaceful, safe for children

We had 3 properties and unfortunately they were all not cleaned to a good standard. Thick dust cobwebs everywhere, sticky dinning table that you could not put your arms in without sticking to it, an old crisp and a tablet under the bedside table (thank god my young grandson did not find them) little bugs found in cups in the cupboard, dust cobwebs inside kitchen cupboards, garden furniture covered in dirt and green moss, dirty mattresses protector on sofa bed. The swimming pool could do with cleaning and update as missing tiles and a lot of loose hair in the pool
