Hotel Moderno Poznań

After one night stay I can say it was perfect.

Excellent hotel. The hotel is in a new, nice and cozy building. The hotel is in a pleasant, green and peaceful neighborhood, about 2 km from the city center. The service was excellent and very caring, from the efficient and courteous cleaner Tatiana via the very pleasant and courteous receptionists up to the very nice hotel manager. The breakfast was very good and delicious. The hotel restaurant is beautiful and decorated. I also had lunch and the food was very delicious. The hotel is highly recommended

The room was clean, had a coffee maker and a very nice design although felt a bit overcrowded with furniture. I wouldn't recommend staying here with a family (and a baby). The hotel has a good business-oriented vibe that makes you feel a bit out of place when travelling with a family

The parking lot next to the hotel is too small, so I had to park across the street and carry the sleeping toddler from across the street - not a biggie, but not the best choice when travelling with small children. The room was not ventilated enough upon our arrival (although it was not an early check-in) and the air conditioning system could have been better for the price of the room. If you're sensitive to smells just like I am this place is not for you as it smelt very nice, but the scent was so intense that I immediately got a headache. Overall a good place to stay, just there was a mismatch for my specific case. P.S. For some reason, when I asked the staff if I could buy water from the restaurant downstairs they told me to walk to the shop. It didn't sound very nice and I am wondering if it's really impossible to buy water from a restaurant that is open and has people around having breakfast? Weird

The restaurant food is great.

In my first room, I couldn't connect to the internet at all. It would connect in the hallway, but it would disconnect upon entering the room. I waited for about half an hour for technical support, but no one came. When I requested a room change, they initially told me they didn't have one either. Then, I said, "I want to check out, cancel it, and go to another hotel." A room was found instantly, but the internet speed was very slow. The internet speed was 50 mb in the hallway, the hotel lobby, and 5 mb in the room. Even a productive Zoom meeting couldn't be held. Secondly, after driving approximately 700 km, I arrived at the hotel and waited for 20-25 minutes to check in. There were about 8-9 other rooms waiting to check in before me, but only one person was working at the front desk. I tried to call the front desk to resolve the internet issue I mentioned above, but there was no phone in the first room. When I had to go downstairs, the crowd was still there. I had to wait in that same line again for the internet issue.
