Hotel Rural Jardines de Milano

Incredible stay!!! Small hotel and very quaint, cozy and has a lot of character. The staff (a couple sisters) were incredibly accommodating. I fell my first day and when I asked for a first aid kit, they brought medicine to my room within 10 minutes. The day I arrived was also Valentine’s and they had put a free bottle of wine along with a rose in my room, so thoughtful. Breakfast each morning is homemade and delicious, slightly different everyday which was great. Beautiful gardens and a lot of places outside to relax like daybeds which was a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the views spectacular. Great location and easy to drive to. I highly recommend staying here as you will get a feel for Tenerife and the culture and have a lovely time.

Liebevoll restauriertes Herrenhaus. Sehr hübsch angelegter Garten. Zimmer schön eingerichtet, groß und sauber. Bequemes Bett. Sehr nettes Personal. Gute Lage.

Licht im Bad etwas dunkel, Wasserdruck der Dusche etwas zu niedrig.

The hotel facilities are nice (terrace with swimming pool, patio, garden) and the hotel architecture is charming. The location of the hotel is convenient.

The rooms are not well soundproof (you can basically hear everything in other room(s)), so if the neighbours are noisy (which was the case for us), it can be very incommoding and make it hard to sleep well. The breakfast was fairly expensive for what it was.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The view from the room was nice.

Communication with the hosts was awful. Besides the fact that they asked for copies of our passports on WhatsApp (that would be stored on who knows whose phone), after we arrived we waited for 30 minutes in cold in the night until someone 'discovered' that we were waiting at the entrance (I particularly want to mention that we confirmed the time of arrival several times, and we called all the available phone numbers and nobody answered). The room was extremely cold. It has a radiator but it didn't help. I think we got sick during the nights with 17 degrees in the room. The walls are not at all soundproofed. At midnight, before our early morning flight, I had to listen to our neighbours' conversations and laughs from the outer rooms. The wifi didn't work (it had too many guests connected at the same time, but none of them was me or my boyfriend). The pictures with the pool are misleading. The pool was closed throughout the whole stay - maybe because of the rain but would have been nice if somebody mentioned it. The water pressure in the bathroom allowed us to finish a shower after one hour. Don't recommend it.
