Perfect apartment for romantic stay with an incredible view

Location was perfect, with our room having a great view over the Ulcinj old town and beach. Hosts are very helpful and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. Across the apartments also lies a restaurant owned by the hosts.

It can get a bit noisy during the night, as there are parties beneath the old town.

Top location, unhospitable owner. With additional effort, this could be top apartments in Ulcinj.

The apartment was on top location. It is in the old town and view on the city is amazing. The price is more than reasonable, I would dare to say that (with improvements) they could charge twice the price (at least). Near the apartment, there is a private beach which is not crowded and sea is quitt clean (unlike the rest of beaches in Ulcinj).

List of thing to improve is a quite a long one! 1.) We travelled 10 hours to reach our destination. It was around 18h and we were tired. All we wanted is to take a shower and a nap. First thing upon arriving was to find that our apartment was given to someone else. They gave us the subtitle "apartment". I post pictures of the room they gave us. No shower, in basement and with view on restaurant kitchen. We protested and we waited for owner to wake up and come. Talk with the owner was not a pleasant one, but we agreed to stay the first night at his sister's apartment which was 1km from center. We were shocked with unhostability but had no energy to argue with the owner. The owner cares very little about their guests. They tried to trick us without any remorse and they showed that dark side of Balkan people (arrogance, total disrespect of guests and no actual apology and compensation. Honesty, fairness and hospitality is something that they should work on! 2. Tomorrow we came back to the apartment and they gave us our room. The room was ok. The last picture is from that room for what we payed. The room had no sea view (they advertise that there is a sea view). 3. There was an option for included breakfast. I payed for that option but when we asked for breakfast they said that they do not serve it. I talked to the owner and he told me to refund via booking. After I mentioned this topic 3 times, he gave me the money with arrogance like I was begging for it. Total disrespect! 4. There is no private parking! That is understandable because the apartment is the old town and the only way to come is by foot. Do not advertise anything you do not have! 5. The only person who cares about guests was the owners daughter in law and she has an appropriate approach to the guests. The rest of the family should learn from her!

nichts, Unprofessionalität pur!!

Appartement was not available, beside it was comfirmed. We arrived at the app. and then we got the negative feedback. Why the app was availabel at the Booking.com.?? Why we didnt get the feedback from the owner that it is not available ??? They just informed us, that they will guide us to the Parking lot….etc.. At to the end we had to invest more than 3 Hours to find a New One….

Szèp helyen volt, az Óvárosban, szép volt a kilátás.

Eléggé el van dugva, alig lehet megtalálni, kajtatni kellett a szállásadót össze vissza, hogy adjon végre kulcsot. A második emeleten nincs erkélyed, a konyha részben, nincs mikro. Kb harmadik nap elromlott a bojler kapcsolónk. (Megszerelték hál’istennek)

Het was, ondanks de dagelijkse workout, een erg leuke vakantie !

Ontbijt hadden we niet in de boeking zitten, maar was mogelijk. De Cappucino was in ieder geval prima !! ;-) De Host was vooraf niet erg scheutig met informatie, (je hebt nogal wat vragen als je ergens voor het eerst komt) maar ondanks dat : de informatie was toereikend, en de host was meer dan welwillend om te helpen!! Echt Chapeau ! We hebben ook regelmatig in het restaurant van de host gegeten, eten was prima en de bediening geweldig en heel hartelijk. In het restaurant zaten we vooral boven op het terras, uitzicht over zee en de "old Town" Ulcinj, echt prachtig daar! Op aanraden van de host een "picknick-boottocht" gedaan, erg leuk ook met een lekker vers gevangen en gebakken visje op het strand, echt een aanrader !! Aan de hand van "onze" westerse luxe begrippen, was het ietwat verouderd enzo, maar het appartement was gewoon netjes en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien.

De auto kon NIET bij het appartement in de buurt komen, dus alle bagage moest met de hand/voet naar boven gebracht. Wij kozen ervoor dat zelf te doen, dat zou ik afraden ! LOL Daardoor echter krijg je wel 2 weken een cardio workout, ik was na m'n vakantie (waarin ik normaal 3-5 kg aankom) een 2-tal kilos afgevallen!!! Dus een meevaller bij een tegenvaller.
