Good location, friendly staff and clean overall
Awkward location of entrance, lack of lift, sparse decoration and lack of toiletries and hand towels.

Clean, nice people
The owners have clearly made an effort.
The building is old and tired, and the common spaces are dreary, but the (small) room was updated with a new comfortable bed, nice linens, and new (simple) furnishings. Same for the bathroom. The shower is in the bathroom, with no enclosure (be prepared!), but there's plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There's a new A/C/heating unit, though we preferred an open window (with screen!). Free parking. Central location.
The walls and ceilings could use a fresh coat of paint. Three floors, no elevator.

Across the street from sea of galilee....my room had a big balcony and room was inexpensive
No elevator so has to lug suitcase up 2 flights of stairs and no one to help...bed not comfortable and pillows cheap and lumpy...no food service at all
