Excellent resort, very relaxing, great location, and most helpful staff

Great beach front location on Pemuteran bay. Very comfortable villa, bed is very good, villa is clean and amenities toilet & bathroom are well designed. It is very pleasant hearing the lapping of waves while relaxing on the balcony. The large pool is awesome. The water of the ocean directly in front of the resort is very clear and unencumbered by boats. Friendly and efficient staff welcomed us and looked after us with ease and grace. We look forward to staying at Adi Assri next week come to Pemuteran.

There could be better direction signage to Reception from villas close to the beach. More drivers could be available to run guests around Pemuteran.

3 pools with lots of sun chairs. Staff very helpful and friendly. About 500m walk down the beach is the bio coral sanctuary where you can swim for free. This is where they are rejuvenating coral with electricity.

Amazing place!

Incredibly attentive staff and a tranquil place in what is a beautiful part of Bali! Large comfy beds with excellent daily room cleans. Good selection for daily breakfast , lovely grounds and amazing pools (there are three, including a 45m one which is great for lengths!).

Enjoyed the beautiful grounds,very well kept in an absolutely beautiful location with a staff that is more than responsive to any need you may have. It is a stunning romantic and beautiful place like few others.

We didn't like that we must leave this piece of paradise to return to the reality of our lives outside the walls of the Villa. Minor annoyance with television not connecting well with the internet but it was very quickly remedied and beyond a few glitches worked well.. It's a bit longer distance than we were expecting but a 4 hour comfortable drive is worth every minute to arrive in paradise. It's almost magical to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind as you travel thru the villages and terraced rice mountain sides. So be assured you're going to have every needed attended to in the most pleasant manner. All that in a beautiful setting is a win win that you won't regret experiencing.

Best over night stay in Pemuteran

This is my third visit to Adi Assri. I love the ease of check-in, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and pool facilities. The breakfast is basic, but fresh and tasty. I always order their Nasi Goreng (whether fir lunch or dinner) because it's the best I have had in Bali. Can't wait to be back in March!

we changed room , so they prepared the new one and they sprayed probably moquito or bug repellent into the air just before we checked in the room and it was irritating our throath and eyes, so needed to go out for a walk even we were very tired after 3 hours motorbike drive from Java, light up an incense stick, open all doors to let the smell gone.

Very nice beachfront hotel

Very nice Balinese beachfront hotel. The hotel area is really huge, stretching from the main road all the way to the beach. Easy to access and the parking space is huge. The staffs are nice and attentive, the experience starts the moment you step in to the entrance. Breakfast is great, we tried the Indonesian menu, it was delicious. They have 3 pools, all are facing the beach, great way to enjoy our time there. The room is super spacious, bed is comfy, the environment is quiet and serene. Those who are into diving or snorkeling, there is a conservation spot called biorock along the beach, a community initiated project to restore the marine ecosystem in the area. It has been 25 years and I say they did great, the spot thrives with marine life. We would definitely consider to stay here again the next time we visit this area.

Very hospitable staff. Clean and relaxing hotel on the beach. We came to scuba dive and good diving was readily available with pick up from the beach.

Relaxing and family friendly stay at this wonderfull hotel.

We enjoyed the long pool big time, swimming, playing and relaxing. We also hang out at the villa and enjoyed that pool tremendously. My kids so much appreciated being able to just jump in the water at any time. Our villa vas clean and lovely with lots of room, and the outdoor shower was very practical to enter straight from the pool. The staff were super friendly and caring. They really went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We also really appreciated the area, with near snorkeling opportunities, lovely views and tranquility.

Disappointed ☹️

Staff were lovely.

Resort is very old, dated and under maintained. Says it is 4 star but should be more like 2.5 star. Very close to 2 different mosques and the call to prayer 5 times each day is extremely loud. The rooms were infested with mosquitos and even could and spray didn’t solve this problem. Food at breakfast and in the one restaurant was very average for the price.

The staff were excellent at all times. They helped us with a fan to help cool the room down. It was a Very clean room. The food we had was okay & reasonably priced.

The air conditioner was too small for the room so it was a bit hot. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the tv to work showing no reception.

The location was beautiful and serene, the food was very good.

The open bathrooms were novel. However, it did allow mosquitoes to enter your room. The staff were very good at lighting mosquito coils in your bathroom and at your front door.

Could have been much better, would think twice about staying there again.

Beachfront location was great. Beach and ocean was good for swimming. The property is spacious and the gardens tidy.

Initially put into a room with twin beds pushed together which were not of equal height. Fridge leaked. Lots of mosquitoes. (The fogging when done was hugely inadequate with most of the areas missed) Unfortunately there was a Hindi celebration next door with music blaring through a megaphone speaker for 11/2 days (starting at 6.30am). When we asked reception how long it would continue for they said 20mins!! Upon check out, we asked for compensation for incorrect information leading us to forgo alternative accommodation and have had nil response. Restaurant staff didn’t appear to show any genuine care.

Great beach location...

We liked the location of our room, very close to pools, beach and restaurant. We liked the views and walks on the beach...beautiful sunsets! Nice to see the local fishermen at work. Good warungs just outside the resort. Quiet resort with three pools! The backdrop of mountains is truly spectacular . The staff were wonderful!

The glass doors did not close off enough to keep mozzies out! The large pool was not particularly clean. Breakfast was the worst we have ever had. No choice, no variety..poor!

Perfect place to forget about the world

Great location by the sea. Great swimming pools. Very kind and helpful staff. Great please to stay if you want to go snorkelling near Menjangan Island (recommended!). The hotel restaurant and bar are good and there are other nice local restaurants nearby.

I would not go back to that Resort again.

The pools & the staff were friendly and helpful, and Ardii was exceptional and even helped us with our Buli language

Although the staff came and sprayed the room at 5 pm and put a mosquito coil in the bathroom, the room was still affected badly by mosquitoes. The mosquito netting around the bed was not a net but material which kept a bit hot. The music from the mosque next door could possibly wake people up at 5:15 am. There are trip hazards along the pathway in some places The large pool with the swim up bar was not a bar any more and the area was full of old equipment. The overall Resort seems to be a bit rundown. The food at the restaurant was okay.

Pay a bit more and book something else . That’s what we should have done

The rooms where nice. Bright , clean and as you would hope for

We were there in June this year and it was very quiet in general around the town . But this hotel was a bit like time forgot or the owners have just given up on it . The grounds and pool areas are just not looked after . Broken side tables , mould growing around the side of the pool, bird shit on loungers that was left and not cleaned for the four days we were there. There seems to be a lot of staff doing nothing and don’t seem to care. Breakfast is pretty poor and that’s me being positive. We thankfully just used it as a base to visit different places in the area. If you want a beach based holiday then don’t book in here as I think you will be very disappointed.

The accommodation was good and clean

The basins were too low - looks like they were set up for sit on basins not inset so bending down to use them was an issue. The chairs/loungers on the patio were useless if not a bit dangerous. The breakfast was inedible and a bit disgusting.

Lovely place, incredible people and great beach!

Beautiful accommodation right along the beach, quiet beach and air con rooms. Love the rustic feel to the area, close to Bali national park and plenty of shops along the strip. Really nice to get away from crowds!

It was right in between 2 mosques which go off 5 times a day, and if you’re a light sleeper it can throw you off sleeping!

Mozzies were in our room & they sprayed with a can of spray every night. You couldn’t go back into the room. At time we arrived the beach had rubbish all out the front. The infinity pool was murky & not cleaned. Had green sludge & leaves in the overflow part. Only the plunge & outdoor pools were properly maintained. Our wifi wouldn’t work properly, rang staff 3 times to fix tv. Had a pizza & it was the worst pizza ever.

One of us is a wheelchair user. The Adi Assri Beach Resorts and Spa in Pemuteran was wonderfully accessible, with the exception of a few steps leading to the restaurant. However, the staff helped him immediately. It is a spacious, very well-maintained complex with beautiful bungalows, several pools and a beautifully landscaped garden. The staff were super friendly again and the service at reception was very organised. A problem with the hot water was solved immediately. The snorkelling spot for the Biorock project is only a few steps away. This is an award-winning coral reef restoration project. It has created a wonderful underwater world. There are very good yet inexpensive restaurants near the hotel. Ade, a local driver, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Old, tired, run down, wrong end of the beach

They moved us when we asked them to.

Not sure why it gets so many good reviews. The pools were dirty, the swim up bar hasn’t been in use for years, it’s at the wrong end of the beach, the beach wasn’t clean, the restaurant was very ordinary, we were put into a terrible room - moldy pillows, cracked bathtub, holes in the sheets and in the mosquito net - on our first night, why on earth did they do that when there were so many other rooms sitting empty. Were gassed in our room by the mosquito sprayer one afternoon after we had specifically stayed away for the time it was meant to happen. Literally had to take shelter in the shower as it was the only place we could breathe. Absolutely do not recommend.

One word: FANTASTIC!

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The staff was beyond helpful and always very attentive. they have a whatsapp number you can message if you need anything e.g at the pool. The food was fantastic, although breakfast is very basic. The dinner was simply scrumptious. We stayed here for our honeymoon and 9 nights, and we were not disappointed. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and beautiful. The shower was such a unique experience. The beach and lounge area was great as well and we used all amenities on a daily basis. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.

The room we booked was light and airy. Initially we were upgraded, but the room felt tired and was too dark inside, so we asked to move to the room we initially booked and it was nice.

Good upmarket resort.

This is a mid- to -upmarket resort with spacious detached bungalows set in well kept gardens, well spread out to give privacy. The resort is right on the beach, but you can't really swim here due to sharp rocks and moored boats. But if you turn left and walk 12 minutes you get to the Biorocks project where there is a bit of coral and lots of beautiful fish. And the resort pools are lovely. The restaurant is open all day and the food is very good. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

The bungalows have a few design faults. The doors are ill-fitting, especially the one to the outside shower, which doesn't help with mosquitos. The mosquito net was also ill-fitting and had holes This might be why they fumigate the rooms every night. Although service was good, overall it had a bit of a corporate feel.

Some maintenance issues need to be addressed. The pool need a thorough cleaning, the restaurant bathrooms were filthy and need work. Some areas just need some TLC.
