Petros Rooms are a wonderful place to stay when visiting the beautiful island of Koufonisi. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast each morning. Our room had recently been decorated and was spotlessly clean. Location is excellent being very close to the beaches and only a short walk in to town. From our balcony we had a delightful view of the sea and the island of Keros in the distance. On our day of departure Petros went above and beyond to help us catch a better ferry after the Meltemi had interrupted ferry services in the Aegean.

Beautiful property and very well kept. Largest shower and bathroom we ever had in Greece! Rooms are very neat and clean and spacious. Petros and family are friendly and welcoming. He also picked us up at the port and took us back. We can 100% recommend Petros Rooms!

We had a wonderful stay! Petros was an amazing host—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, working alongside his lovely daughter. The hotel was spotless, with a spacious room and a balcony offering a dreamlike view. Breakfast was simple yet delicious, and the homemade orange cake was a highlight. The location was perfect, tucked between the Chora and the beaches, making it easy to enjoy both. A special touch that went above and beyond was the collection and return to the port, which made our arrival and departure completely stress-free. Our time here was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Petros and family, for making our stay so special!

The rooms were overall clean.
Breakfast is provided but it’s the same thing every morning (bread, hard boiled egg, Greek yogurt with honey, pound cake) and can get monotonous. A couple of the jams we received with the bread basket was previously opened and eaten. For €350/night, we would have appreciated the bed being made (one day it was made, the other days, the blankets and sheets were folded at the bottom of the bed).
The property is about a 5 minute walk from the closest beach but we never went to that beach because it’s very close to the street and with the tide, there is no dry area to leave your towel (except on the street) so we would walk 40 mins to Pori beach (granted there were multiple beaches on the way to Pori or you could take the boat ferry to Pori. It’s also about a 15 minute walk to town (there is a back way that’s available but it’s not lit up at night).
