I really liked the hotel’s location—Schönbrunn Palace Gardens are right across the street, and there are subway, bus, and tram stops nearby. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast selection is huge, the food is delicious, and I loved the omelet made fresh to order. The weather was lovely, and there was always space in the garden, so we could enjoy breakfast in a pleasant setting under the huge plane trees. The historic building with its rich history is truly special. The chandeliers are wonderful; you can really feel like an aristocrat. The room was huge, very comfortable, and the bed was nice and big. Despite the large space, the air conditioning worked well. I liked the larger-than-average bathroom; there was plenty of room to move around, so it could accommodate a good-sized bathtub. The room has good soundproofing.
The hardwood floors creaked loudly throughout the entire room; unfortunately, every step we took made a lot of noise, no matter how carefully we tried to walk. The TV was restricted; we couldn't connect any external devices to it.

I really liked the mattress in the room - it was very thick and extremely comfortable. For the first time, I felt that the mattress itself truly helped my body recover after a 9-hour journey, and I slept very well. Another thing I loved was the windows facing the summer garden. It was full of birds, and when I opened the windows to let in some fresh air, I could hear them singing - it felt very Austrian and peaceful. I also really appreciated the spacious breakfast area. The hall was large and open, unlike many hotels where breakfast is served in a small, narrow room. Here, the space, combined with the glass walls overlooking the garden, created a very pleasant atmosphere that exceeded my expectations for a hotel.
The paid parking near the hotel was quite expensive - around €50+ per night - and it is not included in the hotel price. It’s understandable, but it feels unusual for a hotel not to have its own parking. On the positive side, the parking was very well secured, which I appreciated despite the cost. At reception, the staff member seemed overly strict and not very welcoming - more like a machine than a host. Perhaps he was just tired, but the interaction didn’t feel friendly. The corridors were extremely long. To reach my room, I had to walk around 280 meters, which was quite exhausting, especially after a long journey. I did not expect such long distances inside a hotel. The rooms also felt too retro in style. Although everything was clean, the interior could benefit from a more modern touch.
