Enjoyable stay in the Bavarian Mountains

Great location, friendly staff, good value. Good central location for walking. Short car journey to lake Chiemsee and visit to Ludwig's castle, modelled on Versailles.

beautiful mountains but too expensive for what you get

- very clean - freshly renovated - comfortable beds (including sofa bed!) - nice bathroom / shower - beautiful view of the mountains - nice balcony

- check-in and check-out were very complicated and took a very long time - staff seemed confused and overwhelmed - misunderstanding about breakfast: at check-in we got the information that breakfast was included, but at check-out we had to pay extra for it - Wi-Fi did not function well to not at all (streaming a film was impossible) - basic kitchen items like water boiler, salt, sugar, tea, corkscrew etc. were missing (we asked for some items at the reception and got them then) - at the new years breakfast tables and chairs were moved around right next to our table to prepare for lunch. staff seemed stressed out and argued with each other while we were sitting right there trying to enjoy our breakfast.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit perfektem Familienzimmer. Sehr professionelle und herzliche Ansprechsperson. Tolles Frühstück. Spielbereich und Geschäft direkt beim Eingang.

Groot hotel op mooie locatie. Vriendelijke familie. In klederdracht, super leuk! Een hele goede keuken en uitgebreid luxe ontbijt.

Ein rundum gelungener Familienaufenthalt in einem gemütlichen, regionaltypischen Hotel

Das Hotel war ein perfekter Ort, um einen runden Geburtstag mit der Familie zu feiern. Es waren ausreichend Zimmer vorhanden, und wer wollte, konnte auch mit dem Wohnmobil anreisen. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das neueste, aber sehr sauber, und das Personal setzt sich engagiert dafür ein, dass der Aufenthalt angenehm ist. Die Räumlichkeiten im Stub’n sind typisch für die Region, und die Speisekarte ist ansprechend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück – einfach klasse!

Gezellige tussenstop om even op adem te komen.

Locatie was iets verder weg van de snelweg voor een tussenstop, maar hotel was zeer proper en aangenaam om te verblijven. Speeltuin en diertjes voor de kinderen. Zonder problemen werd een extra babybed toegevoegd. Zeer gastvrij.

Mega gutes Frühstück und tolle Qualität auch beim Abendessen. Seppa‘s Tappas am Freitag Abend waren extrem lecker. Generell bei den Speisen ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Wir kommen sehr gerne, bei angenehmeren Temperaturen, wieder.

Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant waren sehr sehr gut! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt. Sowohl die Hochplattenbahn, ein Museum und auch ein kostenfreier Badesee sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Das Hotel selbst hat einen Spielplatz der den Kindern die Zeit vertreibt während Eltern im Außenbereich des Restaurants entspannen können.

Leider waren wir bei Temperaturen über 30 Grad in Marquardtstein und die Zimmer haben sich tagsüber stark aufgeheizt und die Lage an der Hauptstraße haben das Schlafen bei offenen Fenstern erschwert. Die Matratzen war für unsere Verhältnisse zu weich aber das ist Geschmacksache.

Für die gebotene Leistung einfach zu teuer!

Das Frühstücksbuffet war war reichlich und mit viel selbstgemachten Produkten oder Produkten aus der Region. Es hat eigentlich an nichts gefehlt. Die Gaststuben und Eingangsbereich sind sehr schön und ansprechend. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden. Schöner Biergarten mit guter Küche. Der Märchenpark und die Hochplattenbahn (Staffnalm) sind schnell Fußläufig (2,4 km) zu erreichen.

Die Zimmer sind doch recht einfach und deutlich abgelebt. Die Betten sind durchgelegen. Der Holzboden hatte an der Balkontüre schwarze Wasserflecken. Das Rollo am Fenster war defekt und blieb nicht in der oberen Stellung, war somit immer geschlossen. Es war sehr heiß im Zimmer, an einen erholsamen Schlaf war da nicht zu denken; keine Klimaanlage, kein Ventilator, Lüfter etc. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte sind schon extrem, das Essen ist zwar sehr gut, aber der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Es waren am Abend sehr viele Fliegen an der Hauswand des Biergartens.

Für 2 - 3 Tage eine akzeptabele Adresse

Unkomplizierte Anmeldung.

Um 9:30 Uhr musste beim Frühstück öfter nachgeordert werden. Angestellte reagieren nicht von selbst. Für Gäste gab es keine Möglichkeit, auch kurz vor 22:00 Uhr noch gemütlich ein Getränk im Restaurant zu sich zu nehmen. Man wurde auf den Kühlschrank verwiesen. Die Zimmer wurden nur gereinigt, wenn das Schild an der Tür angebracht wurde. Schade. Die allgemeine Stimmung im Hotel würde ich als " reserviert" beschreiben.

Das Frühstück lohnt sich!

Alle Menschen waren professionell und haben den Aufenthalt zu einem tollen Erlebnis gemacht, das Frühstück war eines der besten Frühstücke, das wir jemals gegessen haben und alles war in sich stimmig.

Der Balkon war etwas heruntergekommen und die Dusche war eng, aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Perhe

Aamupala oli monipuolinen. Mukava "maatilahotelli". Lapset tykkäsivät katsella eläimiä. Huone oli iso, parveke oli myös plussaa. Saavuimme paikan päälle alkuillasta, hotellin ovet olivat jo lukossa, mutta avain oli jätetty hotellin ulko-oveen kiinnitettyyn kirjekuoreen.

Hotellin oma ravintola ei ollut auki kahtena päivänä viikossa (keskellä viikkoa), mitä emme huomanneet yöpymistä varatessa. Viereiseltä tieltä kuuluvat autojen äänet häiritsivät vähän nukkumista. Kylpyhuone oli jo vähän aikansa elänyt, se oli siisti kuitenkin. Parvekkeen oven ja vessan kattoikkunan sai avattua, joten ei ollut kuuma (ulkolämpötila oli noin 15 astetta), mutta kuumemmalla ilmalla voi huoneissa olla liian kuuma, kun ilmastointia ei ole (tämä oli meillä toki tiedossa huonetta varatessa).
