Bad experience overall. toilets not appropriate. beddings old and itchy. staff not responsive.

recent renovation and painting of rooms. floor is ok and building is generally warm location nearby restaurant and access is easy.

you cannot seat on toilet unless you can jump and place a wall in middle of legs. Doors cannot be closed if you are using toilet. staff do not solve issues when prompted by customers. Until the most senior managers shows up and then they try to make you happy! in my case, beddings and mattress had the little black pins and causing itching. when i was relocated, the alternative was dark stuffy . that try was appreciated when no alternative found, i checked out and paid elsewhere. Refund for two last days was refused by hotel and I had to spend twice as much the rate to get myself a decent place nearby.

The size of the room. The quality of the bed. The size of the bathroom, when you sit on the toilet, you can't even close the door. You see molds everywhere. The photos don't correspond with the reality

It is very French and the quartier reminds me of the old Paris when I was a girl. It is still typical, friendly and self-contained. It also gives access easily to the Sunday morning antiques market

Not impressed

It was within our budget and a 15min walk to metro The Asian food restaurant across the road was really yummy.

Room floor and bathroom wasn't clean The bathroom shower head wasn't fixed to the wall, making it difficult to shower. The space in toilet / bathroom was tiny. To sit on the toilet, you couldn't close the door. There was no hot water for 1.5 of our 3 day stay. We received an email from the hotel advising on the day of check in that as compensation, we would receive free breakfast for the duration but then told "no, just 1 day as our party size was too big" not happy.

best for short stays

good location, close to bus stop so easy to get to different places in the city, although definitely better for shorter stays not long stays. it was clean and they refreshed the towels often.

the room was not air conditioned so in hot weather it was very uncomfortably hot and clammy. the shower was too small especially with an unadjustable shower head. the tap was too powerful and sprayed water everywhere even when turned on a little. the bathroom door also had a hole in it like someone had punched it. the bed also had no headboard so you’re unable to relax properly before bed.

The staff was welcoming. The beds were fairly comfortable.

The elevator was tiny, and the stairs were quite narrow and steep. The bathroom was so small that I was able to sit on the toilet and touch the wall in front of me with my knees (note: I'm only 5'3"). There were not enough working outlets, and our room did not have a fan or a/c. The location was not as convenient as the description implies. Guests can only access a fridge and microwave; the kitchen is off-limits.

Clean room, shoutout to the cleaning department, only positive thing of my stay.

Rooms are narrow. Everything can be heard from my room, not quiet at all. Toilet is unbelievably small, just like the sink. Washing my teeth was the hardest thing ever. 100€ for that room, that service, what a waste of money. Also the receptionists were a bit rude and the customer service generally very poor. Like the answer rate on booking, not good at all. Disappointing.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

The walls are paper thin - we could hear way too much from the corridor and from other rooms. We couldn't sleep much during the night because of this. The bathroom was way too small as well.

If you are any taller than 5ft I would not book this place! Bathrooms are so small you are unable to sit on the toilet due to only having a few inches for leg room. The sink is directly in front of the small shower so you have to squeeze by, would not be accessible for anyone with a larger build.

rooms not as advertised, felt like we were in a psych ward with the room all white, sparse, no touch’s of decor. there was scaffolding outside the hotel so it made it worse and what little view even poorer. the beds were uncomfortable, small, sheets had stains. no hand soap. the pictures do not represent the hotel at all. the rooms were also very dated, lots of wear and tear and felt dirty.

the location was good

bedroom’s don’t match the photos by a long way. Described and shown to be a creative colourful space on website and in reality room was basic, plain white, minimal furniture. Receptionist was grumpy and couldn’t be bothered to help with simple taxi enquiries.

Moldy, just don't

Fast check in, public transport is close to the hostel/hotel. Supermarket and bakery close by

Black Mold in the bathroom because there is no extractor fan there. The mold is on the room ceiling and in the shower. And behind the toilet there is a big hole. You can't really open the door to get in the room, you need to move the hole two beds to enter. Same for the bathroom door. The bathroom is so small you shouldn't be claustrophobic. The mattress was really dirty a lot of spotts/stains but at least the sheds and the towel were clean. I stayed for four nights and there was no room cleaning or anything. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything form the neighbour room. The stuff were ok, the older guy was not very friendly. I don't recommend to spend your money there. I know it is difficult to find a place with own bathroom but keep looking! The Fotos look very appealing and stylish but nooo just don't book there! All in all It is overpriced for this dirty place. Never ever again!

very calm and quiet location

The Staff and the hotel management: arriving to check in at 23:00 , after a long ling flight, one of the staff member told me that i have to wait before i can get a room because another staff member made a booking for the same room for another client. being very tired after the flight, i insisted to get a room immediately. how can a hotel book the same room for two clients ?
