Very clean and modern facilities
There was basically no staff on site- no one during check in and just one employee to refill the breakfast buffet and manage check out in the morning

The hotel locates next to a playfield but it is quiet. The check-in system is clear and smart so that people only need their passports without talking to others. The room is large and clean. There are always hot water during the day in early April.
The hotel is little far from the Gmunden town center or Old munster, and people have to walk to there for either sightseeing and food for about 20 minutes. Of course busses are available, but on a holiday travel, taking busses is not an ideal option.

Room size
Price - I booked last minute and the hotel was busy but I paid a price for room ONLY which was extortionate. The hotel is basic, it is nice enough but no where near worth €450 a night. If you are paying on average €150 a night that is a fair price. The hotel claims to be 4 star but nothing about the service is 4 stars. (no free water, tiny towels, basic soap, basic decor. The Spa is nice enough but ran out of towels and there were no staff on site to replace.
