Let's get the formalities out of the way : Ai Carpini checks all the boxes and features everything you are looking for on your family holiday. It is a peaceful and beautiful place. It feels remote and serene, while still being well connected to either the airport or many attractive destinations like Venice, Padua or Treviso. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and - like the whole facility - quite spacious, neatly maintained and perfectly clean throughout. There is a little playground, a football field and lots of space for the kids to venture around with geese and chickens patrolling the area, while the adults can enjoy some sunbathing and delicious, modestly priced drinks at the pool area. The restaurant features maybe the best italian cuisine that i ever had the pleasure to experience. Every dinner feels like enjoying a secret family recipe, passed on over generations, prepared with seasonal, local ingredients of the finest quality as well as lots and lots of love and care. Long story short: Ai Carpini leaves nothing to be desired on your family vacation in Venetia. However, none of those features are what made our holiday the unforgettable experience that it came to be. As close as it is to many major locations, the Ai Carpini is located at a road without sidewalks or bike paths. Since we had no car of ourselves, we were afraid, we might be trapped in the facilities and would have to depend on expensive taxis or shuttle services to get anywhere. The lovely receptionist was very understanding and quickly ensured us, that we needed not to worry. Our host and the whole crew would do everything they could to help us have the most wonderful time. Surely, every receptionist worth their salt would say a thing like that. But our hostess made true of that promise big time. She went to incredible lengths for us, that exceeded everything we have ever experienced. We felt truly hosted, not like hotel residents, but like guests of honour. Like family.

As mentioned, there is no bus stop or station close by and no way to comfortably get anywhere on foot or by bike.

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting the area!! You are close to Venice and the train station. The hosts are amazing. The kindest people we met on our trip! It is run by a family. The mother is a wonderful chef and we had some delicious dinners. The father works the property and Tania, the daughter, is the host. They all make you feel like you are part of their family! If we are fortunate enough to visit this area again, we will definitely stay here again ! Great for a family with children!!! Make sure you take a side trip to Treviso, lovely town with canals! Do not hesitate to book Agriturismo Ai Carpini, you'll be so glad you did!
