What a pleasant surprise it was to find EMI Hotel! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Ammoudara. The hotel is beautifully located right on Ammoudara Beach, where guests can enjoy complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas. The sandy beach is lovely and easy to walk along, and it was wonderful being able to relax by the sea so easily. From my very first contact with the hotel, Mr Giorgos Christodoulakis, the owner, was professional, helpful and prompt with his communication. He even arranged an excellent taxi driver, John, to collect me from the Heraklion Ferry Terminal and later take me to the Heraklion Bus Terminal for my trip to Chania. This level of care and assistance was very much appreciated. I enjoyed my stay so much that I am actually returning at the end of the week for another four nights! The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and I would especially like to mention Anastasia, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and a pleasure to chat with. My room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with a good-sized balcony and a lovely ocean view. The breakfast buffet, served from 8:00–10:00 am, had a great variety of choices. The pool area was also very inviting, with plenty of sun loungers. The location is excellent, with lots of shops, restaurants and cafés along the main road, and a bus stop right outside the hotel. I was also impressed that the Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable, even down on the beach! EMI Hotel has everything I look for in a stay — a wonderful location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and, most importantly, genuine Greek hospitality. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to Giorgos and the wonderful team at EMI Hotel for making my stay so enjoyable. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit!

What a FANTASTIC place to stay in Crete! We just spent 6 nights of a 16 day trip to the Greek Isles and our 6 person group unanimously agreed that Emi Seaside was our favorite place to stay and that we're all coming back. The owner George was the Best Host! The property itself was quiet, relaxing, and clean. The location was in walking distance to many great restaurants and the beach area was spectacular. George provided us with many recommended places to eat, travel to, etc and was genuinely interested in making sure we had the best time while in Crete. Thanks George and we all hope to be back soon!
