Doubletree by Hilton Van

The Doubletree was clean and modern and our room had a lovely view of Lake Van. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and our room was quiet. The desk staff went above and beyond, giving us a lovely room and making sure everything worked for us. When, on our second stay, we arrived tired and dusty and needed to change a room AND add a room to our reservation, they worked swiftly to meet all our needs.

Very minor - the minibar did not seem to work.

“I really liked that my room was clean, and I enjoyed the lobby. I also liked the reception and the staff’s attitude. The staff were all very nice. However, in terms of location, it was quite far from the city, and it wasn’t very close to the airport either. So, you didn’t really have the option to stay in the city and spend the night there, nor was it close enough to the airport to save on transportation costs
