    We stayed two night which was perfect for us. Clean rooms with cozy bedding, exceptional welcoming from the owner and his mom. Recommend to include the breakfast it was really good every morning

    There is a free shuttle from JR station to ryokans. Once I got to TSUCHIYA, the owner, Kazuki, greeted me along with his mother. They greatly helped me carry my luggage to my room. And the mother even brought me green tea and provided me information on the attire and onsens. The room has this big window which when you look out of, you can see the small stream that become big later on in the town. The sound of the stream was really soothing. They have 2 private onsens which you lock the main door and enjoy it privately. They have a Cafe and another property across the street. The Cafe was great for breakfast or coffee break. They provide an onsen pass for the 3 days I was in the town and provided all of the toiletries tied to visiting an onsen. They do not have laundry accessible to guests however will do it for you for a charge overnight. On my day of departure they even dropped me of to the station. Highly recommend this hotel and would choose it again in future!

    The owners were incredibly attentive and generous. The place is spotless and they really take care of you.
