Great location close to all amenities, the building is stunning.
The value for money is just not there. The WiFi is patchy, and yes we’re on holiday so we should log off but it cuts off just for simple google maps research. At £300/night and with the hotel seemingly empty, we got put into a room right next to a chapel with everyday service at 6am. Whilst this is a nice way to wake up, this is just not the level expected for Relais & Chateaux. Asked everyday for breakfast time which I would understand in a busy hotel but every morning there was only us there. There is no ambiance in the hotel, it’s effectively just a place to sleep. The staff is sometimes there but this is not a place to grab a drink.
