We decided to base our stay from Hotel Arcangel. We found the price reasonable, the location very convenient and accessible, the accommodation was modest but very satisfactory with comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, good morning breakfast buffet, quiet, and extremely friendly, personable and accommodating staff. We were able to store our luggage during two separate trips that included an overnight trip and, several days later, our 4-day hiking/camping trek. Each time we returned, our luggage had been put into our new room, and we didn’t have handle it at all. It was some of the best customer service we've ever had, and it was more than appreciated- especially after returning from our strenuous multi-day trek. We would most definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again ourselves if we ever get back to Cusco.
