We had a great time at De Ville this week. The view was spectacular and the reception staff were terrific. Very accommodating. We’ll be back!

We travelled to take part in the Gold Coast Marathon events, and were blown away by this unit! Very spacious, super clean 3 bed 2 bath unit (apt 23, 5th floor) with wonderful views everywhere we looked. Awesome position to watch the marathon from the balcony as the runners past approx 5kms, and then again at about the 28km mark. A lovely 25 min stroll to the finish line / events area. The building is directly opposite the surf club which was ok for meals, and about 3 mins walk to the Yacht Club which had wonderful meals and well priced. About 5 mins walk to Tedder Avenue for loads of great cafes and restaurants and approx 15 minutes walk to the tram - a comfy 15 mins tram ride to Pacific Fair. We loved coffee each morning at Sparrow right behind the apartments. The facilities are great - the pool area is very clean. Great system for tennis court bookings too - just put your name down and grab the rackets and balls by reception. Our apartment had a wonderful layout with a central kitchen dining and lounge, and then separate main bedroom with large ensuite, bath and wardrobes. The kids rooms were down another hallway with a separate toilet, shower and laundry. Great verandah with chairs and table for cuppa tea each morning. Comfy lounge with huge tv. Air conditioning was great, excellent kitchen with heaps of cutlery and utensils. The building is very secure and requires a fob for access, including lifts and the car park. We had one fob for the 5 of us which was a little tricky sometimes but we managed ok - can’t wait to return!
