The room was really nice, cozy and big and the staff accomodate our request to have some kitchen stuff, as a kettle and micro-wives etc because we have a little girl of 7 months (to make her milk and sterilise milk bottle). Really appreciate it! Thank you very much :)

I had a simple but very lovely and clean room with high ceilings and beautiful big windows, and an external bathroom. The hotel´s location is beautiful, very central to the Ciudad viecha and public transport to all directions are everywhere around. I´d prefer a reception with actual people, which is not there, however the check-in and check-out process was easy and worked well. Also the check-in and check-out times are convenient. I asked for an extra blanket before my stay and it was in the room when I arrived, which was nice. I was there 3 nights in which time the towels weren´t changed and the room was not cleaned, which was ok, but if I had stayed longer, it would have been good to have the room cleaned and new towels given. The customer service however was friendly and with fast replies, so I´m sure, if I had contacted them, I would have been given new towels immediately. My default setting on booking.com is asking for a quit room, however I was happy I was given a room to the street and not to the back... even with the problem as described below.

The complete facade was covered in scaffolding and green gauze. The construction workers were literally in front of my windows. It was noisy, and it was unsafe to have the windows open and if I wanted privacy in the room I had to have the shutters down. This was not mentioned at all, neither on booking.com nor on the hotels website. When I mentioned that to the customer service it was only said, that they are sorry, but nothing can be done about it now, and that they should have mentioned that on the respective booking sites. This was a quite disappointing reaction in my opinion, and as it is still not mentioned on the booking sites, shows that it is deliberately not mentioned. If I had known, I would probably not have booked the hotel at this time, but at least I would have wanted to know in advance. I do think, that this is definately something, that guests should be made aware of before booking. I paid a very reasonable rate for my stay, and didn´t expect a price reduction. However e. g. a voucher for a complimentary breakfast or even a free coffee would have been a (nice) gesture.... Also I informed customer service at booking.com about it, and obviously they don´t mind informing their customer about it neither. I didn´t mind the noise from the street (e. g. a glas container right in front of the house, where people throw their bottles into at all hours), also other guests are quite mindless with smashing doors and loud talking in the hall in front of other guest´s rooms. But that´s nothing the hotel management can do about. Besides all that, for the right rate I would book the same room again... as soon as the facade it finished ;-)

The location was just perfect, close to the city center and all the amenities of Valencia. Recommended for short stays, good price

The bathroom was a bit too small and old, the bed was not a real double bed and the mattress was uncomfortable
