Exceptional family owned hotel

Very nice, friendly, and comfortable family owned hotel. They even upgraded my room to a much better one without asking or having to pay extra for it since they had so many rooms available. The room was located on the last floor with lake view and balcony. The view was amazing. It had a very comfortable, no noise bed, (a plus for couples) with 2 different pillows sets provided and air conditioning. Bathroom was very modern. Private access to the lake, big common areas, elevator, and even a swimming pool. Free parking, as you would expect, using a blend of nature, which made it more appealing.

English language apparently is not very common in Italy. Still, there was a Brazilian lady member of staff who could speak Portuguese, and that for me solved the language barrier straight away.

Lovely stay, we will come back!

Location was great, you could use the tunnel to get to the beach. Breakfast was perfect, everything I could think of was there (healthy and unhealthy, whatever you want). Staff was super kind, we even went swimming with one of them. The room wasn’t hot at all, we expected a hot room because of the wood and the sun, but it was a nice temperature.

The pillows are extremely hard, I would totally recommend this hotel for everything they have and are, but bring your own pillow. Also if you stay at the hotel for diner, know that the food will come, but it takes a while.

Thank you very much to Rabay team for great time we spent in your hotel. I think, there isn´t around Garda better view to sea than from your balcony. The way from hotel to sea takes 1 minute. The garden around hotel allow relax time during day or night. Quality of room equipment was totally according our imagination. The same I can tell about level of your canteen. There was still full offering of food during breakfast time. You can find there whatever you want. The personnel were wiling to prepare dinner for us despite the time for dinner was over . For Rabay´s personnel wasn´t any problem to send our forgotten umbrellas to my address. We will return certainly to this great place ! Marek family

Great stay for a weekend getaway

The location was well placed and the availability of the different activities they had were great compared to other places (beach chairs to use for free, umbrellas, bikes for a fantastic price, etc.) Also, the tunnel that goes under the busy road out front to the water, a huge plus as well. The lake is great, but when it started getting to be sunset, retreating back to the pool at Hotel Rabay, followed by a dinner just above the pool, really awesome. Highly recommend and will come back!

Parking is the one thing that wasn't the best, but it was free. You were assigned a spot by reception, but if there were alot of cars, it can get a little cramped.

it was great for one night stop during our motorbike trip. Booked 20 min before, rather good value for the money. well insulated room, so road noise wasn’t too bad. great breakfast and helping staff.

Great location right on the lake. Outside the main town of Garda so it was much quieter though still lots of visitors, not crowded though. seems to be a family run hotel and you can tell, the staff were really personable and attentive. lots of parking on site. Rental bicycles and e-bikes available to cycle along the lake. highly recommend. good sized pool on site too. breakfast buffet available with lots of options. we told the staff we were leaving before the regular breakfast hours and they offered us some coffee and light breakfast options before our drive which was greatly appreciated.

even the rooms need to be improved it was similar in Poland in the sixties rooms are suitable for complete refreshment I am able to pay more but I am asking the hotel management to do something about it

Location is really nice, private beach and nice garden. Room was clean and nice. Staff was super nice, especially the young lady that checked us in, super helpful. Would definitely reccomend this place.

Amazing breakfast buffet, hot and cold dishes, excellent selection. The location of the hotel is great, across the road from the lake, the area is quiet.

I find the system that is used for car parking and breakfast tables useless. You cannot park anywhere you want, at the reception you are allocated a number but when you arrive you can't know which space is free and which is not. You are also allocated a table for breakfast. There are numbers of the rooms on each table. If you wish, you can have breakfast on the terrace. I had breakfast twice and both times I walked around the whole restaurant to find my table but without success so I had to ask a waiter to get me one.

Family run, amazingly clean, basic hotel with lots of hidden treats

Hotel was immaculately clean, staff extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good choice at breakfast, amazing location, delicious pizza and cocktails, free sun beds, private beach and pool to cool down in.

A proper gem facing the lake!

Amazing location and lovely view. Very well connected with the beach via a private tunnel just behind the swimming pool that allows you to cross the road without any risks. Nice indoor swimming pool with an open side, ideal for colder months. Free sunbeds available for all guests. Friendly and very helpful staff. Top notch value for money. There's a 10 km path "lungolago" that connects all the beaches to the pier, main square and old city. A proper gem! Peaceful and quiet, just what you need for a relaxing gateway.

Although the food was excellent, the food menu had limited options for lunch. The head waiter was not very flexible with my request to add a slice of tomato and a bit of salad to my piadina..

. All the staff was very helpful, the rooms and hotel is a traditional Italian accommodation, very quirky. The indoor pool was brilliant, access to the beach was good, the free sun loungers was very comfortable... The buffet breakfast had everything on , something for everyone.

We did a day trip everyday, so by the time we got back, we was shattered , we would of liked a kettle in the room... saying that though , you could go and order a drink from the reception.

The room offered was extremely small. But the PROBLEM WAS WITH THE BOOKING.com portal. I selected a Budget DoubleRoom and I confirmed my booking. But it was converted to a Budget single room. The cost some how increased from 97 Euro to 117 Euro! But the hotel staff reduced it back to the original price. Unfortunately they could not offer me a larger room.

Superb

Great location, 1 min to the lake through tunnel, beautiful view from the room, a lot of facilities for comfortable stay: ping-pong, swimming pool, ball, bicycles, nice territory with shadow. Excellent breakfast with big choice, very tasty. Exceptionally friendly family runs the Hotel and ensures comfortable staying.
