The best nights stay I have ever had away from home. BEST breakfast ever!!!!!

Everything. The service was phenomenal and the staff were so welcoming from beginning to end. Our room was so comfortable and updated. The bed was heated!!! You can tell that they put a lot of energy and thought into making this a home way from home.

Nothing. The only thing I would say is if you are expecting to be in a walking distance to city center, stay somewhere else. This is a quiet stay that requires drive or bus to the city but that is exactly what we were looking for after long travels across Ireland.

Very Pleasant and Comfortable stay.

The stay was warm and cozy for the cold and rainy Galway. I really appreciate the warmth shown by Mike and rest of the staff. Breakfast is as amazing as advertised by other reviewers. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

In our room, the shower had very poor water pressure. Also in the sink, there was no hot water. Lastly, if you don't have private transport, cab/taxi seems to be the only option in the rainy Galway weather. Bus stop is around 12-14 mins away which is tricky with luggage and rain.

The room was spacious and was exactly as stated. The in-room amenities were perfect and replenished daily. Breakfast...to die for! We would have stayed just for breakfast every morning!!!

Michael was lovely to deal with and the staff were all friendly. Lovely cosy room and the bed was the comfiest bed we've stayed in. Bathroom/shower was perfect aswel and a nice touch added by having some snacks/water in the room on arrival Breakfast both mornings were fab we'll definitely be back again

It was clean, warm, and charming. We had such greats nights with the wonderful bed. Mike is so welcoming and nice. We felt home. The breakfast is amazing. We will comme back here if we come back to Galway.

Highly recommend and whatever you do, do breakfast!

Breakfast was a culinary delight with great attention to detail and an amuse bouche to start things off. It was my first sampling plate before a breakfast and there was such creativity involved.

The ceilings need some love. There has been water damage that needs to be addressed in the hall to the room.

Great in every way. So many amenities were provided that other places didn’t provide. I enjoyed the vanity, mirror and hair dryer. The makeup mirror in the bathroom, china cups, tea and hot pot in the room, small refrigerator with water in it, delicious breakfast including ding bottle appetizer and large selection menu, embroidered napkins and more.

There are a number of steps to climb outside with no railing to get to the front door.

Peaceful, comfortable, and the best breakfast in Ireland!

The room was super comfortable and even came with two bottles of sparkling water. The breakfast was exquisite! The location was good, in a peaceful area but required driving or a taxi to get to nightlife and restaurants.

When I checked on the map it appeared the location was within walking distance of a restaurant area but that turned out to not be the case. Still, it was safe and quiet and not far from the action.

Warm welcome awaits

Very nice place to stay, with a very warm host. The breakfast is excellent and staff are very nice and accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable. What made the stay was the host who is a gentleman and very helpful.

The only drawback for me was the location being just a little far from town. It’s about 3.2k or a 40 minute walk.

Amazing breakfast. They had washcloths and tissue. They also had a direct line to call a taxi which was great. The size of the room was great too. The property was easy to access and they provided parking with no extra charge.

I booked this property on the back of a 9.2 rating - our experience really not in line with other reviews Rennovation project spoils the look and feel - tiles all removed, makeshift rails, unpainted Old and even stained bedding eg fraying at the edges Impossible to wash long hair in shower with hardly any water pressure

A good option in Galway, just don't expect to have a good shower though.

The location to the city was great with parking available at the cathedral for a very low price for 24 hours when we wanted to visit the town. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of items. The porridge was excellent! There was potential to sit on the terrace and have a quiet drink or two, although we didn't actually have time to do it.

This is not a 4 star accommodation, although this is everywhere in the documentation. It looks like it has been an issue for many years, but the water pressure in our shower was pathetic, to say the least. Just a dribble. Please fix it. There was also a strange smell on entering the property, could it be cigarettes, and our room had a strange perfume smell to it.
