    Room was mouldy esp bathroom. The ceiling, taps, door handles, skirtings etc covered with mould. Complained so switched to another room which is slightly better. Overall think it's too rundown so need to really overhaul the place.

    Union Victoria motel is advertised as 4 star with Genuine mineral pools and outdoor heated pool. All the pools are closed down in 2024. There is no person to person contact at office. No battery in the smoke alarm. No blind in kitchen exposing paint splattered window. No chain attached to pull kitchen plug out. Had to fix toilet seat to stop it moving. No pressure diffuser in bathroom basin to stop gettting sprayed with water if turned on suddenly. Dust on all skirtings.. At least the carpet looked new.

    This hotel is a budget hotel that is quite old however I did pay over 200 per night NZD which was way too much for this accom.
