Location and layout were fantastic! Great private casita and onsen.
The futon mattresses were tired and uncomfortable. These need updating and replacing. Also, a chair or two in the room would be a welcome addition. I know it’s not traditional but would be nice to have as well as some furniture on the outdoor deck to sit and relax in such a beautiful setting!

上高地に行く時はいつもこちらの温泉を楽しみにしています。適度な硫黄の香りと最適な温度と乳白色の温泉に癒されています
離れのお部屋に期待していましたが部屋の温泉は熱過ぎて入れませんでした。見た事ないような大きな蛾が風呂のドアに張り付いていて開けることすらできませんでした。部屋のアメニティは歯ブラシしかありません。お茶のティーバッグはひとつしかなくドリップコーヒーや水があれば助かります。部屋の隅には埃が溜まっていてもう少し掃除してもらいたい。早朝に部屋の荷物を車に入れる為に外から遠回りして駐車場に行かなくてはならないので帰りの準備をするだけでかなり歩いて疲れました。夕食の時の外国人のスタッフが料理の説明をしてくれても使い慣れない敬語で何を言ってるかわからなかった。
